I figured that betting half pot is the right idea because he can still call with a stubborn queen/PP but if he hit the ace he would probably bet more than half the pot if i check to him, so as long as i don't think he's ever(or very rarely) bluff-raising, my bet is +EV. Agree/disagree?

I'd put a normal bet in on river, stronger than your half pot one. I would fold this river too, but it's really hard to put him on a hand that's any good. Besides getting raised on the river his hand looks like 67. I guess he could have A5 and played it really bad.

I have no clue how you can fold here getting over 3-1 odds. What does the villian hold that has us beat? I'm seeing a 5 or AK, yeah 23 got there but is he really calling a raise with it preflop. Sets need to try to extract some value on the turn, AQ would probably bet the turn, even trip 5's is probably betting the turn. Bad laydown IMO.
