Monkey, I'd make a bet with you that Boston goes further than Montreal this year. Meaning points in the regular season don't matter (unless one team misses the playoffs), and then it'd just be whoever lasts longer in the playoffs (games played if they both lose in the same round).

Sounds good...how much $25 or $50?

Let's do 50. I got a great feeling about this year!
OK...booked. This will rekindle the rivalry...well, this and the insignificance of the Leafs.

I love how you're so confident about the Leafs, yet you won't put your money up.Take a team as bad (as proclaimed endlessly by you) as the Senators; you won't take Biatch's bet because you don't think they'll finish worse than 6.5 spots ahead of the Leafs? The Sens will prolly finish somewhere in the playoffs, but they won't finish 1st or 2nd. Since you think the Leafs will finish ~6.5 spots behind the Senators, you, yourself are conceding that they won't make the playoffs. Even when Biatch offered 4.5, the Sens would need to finish 3rd or better for you to be able to correlate that to the Leafs making the playoffs, and you STILL didn't take it.Do you follow? I know I'm wording it awfully, as I've been up for a while, lol.Needless to say, you're contradicting yourself, and simply don't make any sense, in general.http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...howtopic=125331

LOL I wont put my money up..Are you ****ing kidding me??Look at the bets last year and this year so far. The only reason is the whole franchise from top to bottom seems to think they are "rebuilding"..I still think we will do well, but I made enough bets on it.I like the action, but I am not going to take the worst of it in every bet..I think we can settle this the old fashioned way Zach.Me and you , heads up live limit holdem..Anything up to 20-40...We play 8 hours with 4 15 minute breaks. We can have neutral dealers and location of your choice.Man enough??/

You can play at my card table, and I will get you a dealer. In return, I get to book a piece of this first before anyone else gets money down on sidebets. I am not saying who I will take....

I am up for it if he is...The rules can be negotiated , the only stipulation i have that is it must be LIVE...Zach beats up on these guys at AP with his superuser status, but lets see what happens when he plays a real player. :club: I equate this to Phil Hellmuth (me) vs Tom "durr" Dwan (Zach)I was playing holdem when Zach was still in diapers. Its pretty much true..Come on Zach, lets do it

Oh man, this would be so much fun to watch. I'll bring the beers! (ok not ALL the beer, I know how much Zach can drink!)
There is a fresh thread about this..I am excited if he takes the challenge.

I would have preferred Toronto as well, mostly just because I actually know a ton of people there.Either way, Ottawa is a huge step up from Thunder Bay, and it will most likely only be 2 years or so.Afterwards, penthouse condo on the Strip, if things go according to plan. :club:

ya ..One good thing about Ottawa is you are close to Montreal and not too far from Toronto..But man those January and February nights can get really cold..Guess Thunder Bay isnt too warm either though..lolI hope i get an invite for a beer when you move into your penthouse condo.. :club: Some really cool buildings going up.

It's not that Ottawa is that cold in the winter... it's just that we don't have the underground infrastructure like Toronto/Montreal.As for condos, they've been going up like crazy the last few years -- I guess the city is finally getting big enough that people don't want to commute in from the 'burbs.

I'll think about it. I'm expecting the Leafs to build a soccer-like wall on the goal line this year.
