JoeyFinngars 0
My girlfriend will be taking me to Niagara this Friday to celebrate my birthday and we will be staying at Fallsview Casino for the night. I want to play some poker while I am there, obviously, but I am unsure what limits they offer at Fallsview and haven't heard back from the poker room. I normally play 1/2 NL and would like to get into a similar game, I will only have between $150 - $200 to spend on poker as I am not quite balleresque just yet.....Any info from people that have played at Fallsview before would be greatly appreciated...also I am not opposed to playing LHE.Thanks! Don't bitch about the $5/hr session. and the dealers suck, but the fishiest of fishies makes it sooooo worthwile!
savagerebel 0
GL on the trip. Wreck the whole room.

JoeyFinngars 0
GL on the trip. Wreck the whole room.I am hoping too as I haven't had a losing session in my last 10 outings either to a casino or a card room around town...unfortunately these trips are few and far between... Canary3 1
$5 per hour doesnt sound bad at all for 1/2 nl. If you won 2 pots in the hour, you would pay more than that in rake.
TB17 0
first off its not 5/hr, its 5 every HALF hour, so you're paying 10% of ur stack an hour. It sucks.

pezeveng 207
There are alot of good players during the week. Weekend the dollars begin to fly lots of allins with flush or open ended straight draws. From my experiences very difficult to bluff people of pots they will call even with middle pair. That was on the 5/5 table so I can only imagine the 1/2.
HAAALLLOOO 0
I havent been to Fallsview for a while, but last I was there it was pretty busy. Call me old fashioned but I still prefer playing at the old Casino Niagara. Larger contingent of young and drunk "professionals" there. But best of luck to you wherever you decide to play. jeff_536 3
Last time i was in the falls, the lowest game they spread at NL was 2/5 and 5/5 with a 5/10 game sometimes.Lowest LHE was 5/10.Have things changed?

The ONLY games I ever see there are 1/2 NL and 2/4. 3/6 if enough old people show up. Fallsview was all 2/5 NL last time I went, except for one lowly 5/10 table....which I cleaned up on because it basically was just a waiting table for NL players."Whattya mean I can't go all in?" LOL...very nice. You can catch a free shuttle to and from both them casinos as well. To walk it is kinda far. Not outrageous...but not just up the block either.Casino Niagara's tables piss me off. The colors give me a headache. Pink and green and blue and yellow...but not regular colors....day glo colors. UGH

HAAALLLOOO 0
Last time I was up there I know that at the Fallsview you could actually call the pokerrom and put yoiur name on the waiting list if you wanted. They gave yoiu a 90 minute window, so I would generally call when leaving Mississauga, fuel up the car and get there to be #1 on the list. Im not sure if this is also the case at Casino Niagara but you can give it a try there too. Just call the mainline and ask for the poker room.Fallsview Casino 1-888-FALLSVUCasino Niagara 1-888-WINFALLGood luck

HAAALLLOOO 0
I agree with above poster, everytime Ive stayed at the Fallsview Casino, they would put you at the top of the waiting list for the game. My apologies if this rule has changed, though I dont quite know why they would change it.

You get bumped ahead too when you go to the buffet.

Dratj 0
Putting hotel guests on the top of the lists has NOT been the policy of Fallsview's poker room for about one year.It caused many more issues than it resolved.Just curious as to what those issues were?
