Pretty standard. If you're against a calling station and you have the nuts then absolutely cannot slowplay unless you are 100% sure they will not call you now, but may call you later. You have no reason to believe that at this point, so you have to call the flop and then raise the turn, just like you did. It just sucks that this was one of the times he didn't have anything. It happens.

I raise the flop to get some value out of this hand when you do hit. Since you are in position then you can decide on the turn what you want to do if the flush doesn't come. It also disguises your hand a bit.

you played it perfect against an idiot calling station, he probably had 84o with no hearts. Sometimes they have to have hands to win a big pot.

He did bet half as much on the turn as he did the flop... that sounds like a scared bet to me... but he probably needs a hand in order for you to get anything so I guess your raise is good.
