BrandonPL 0
What are you planning to do if he comes back over the top of you for a pot sized re-raise?

simo_8ball 0
i'd probably have lead, but c/r is fineI like checkraising, especially with big draws. You either get as much money in as possible with your huge draw when you have the most equity, or you get a free card. Either outcome is generally favourable. That's my own style though. Many people prefer playing 'straightforward', for want of a better word. Leading this flop is definitely fine.

Leading this flop is definitely fine.that's me, at least in omaha...my theory is that, since no one person generally has a huge edge in a hand, that its better just to get as much money in as you can while that edge is still there...the only good times to check a big hand is generally when you have a big hand with a big redraw where any card in the deck that comes off can't hurt youagain, just how i see it

meservery 0
...the only good times to check a big hand is generally when you have a big hand with a big redrawwouldnt this be the absolute best time to bet?
sabes99 0
wouldnt this be the absolute best time to bet?when you have a big hand and a big redraw it's safe to trap...i'm not saying it's a bad time to bet, i'm just saying that those are the safest hands to trap with in omahaif you flop, say, a set but have no redraw you should probably just be getting the money in while your edge is still there
