DrZoidberg 0
Even after seeing the results I still say the push isn't a bad play. You just got unlucky, lucky, and then unlucky. But I think most of the time in this situation you start off in good shape.

If you don't mind I'm going to go cry in the corner now.

We're not guarenteed a cash if we fold.
monix 0
Results....looking back his play screams a monster but I'm not sure if I'm good enough to fold this.Quit being results oriented...no one is "good enough" to drop this hand. Folding this hand at any time is a bad play.Let's say instead if calling his pre-flop raise, you re-raised and he pushed; what do you do? You must call. Sure you would have lost, but you will be up against AA only once every 24 times you have KK. That means you must be 95% sure he has AA to fold whenever this type of situation happens, which you can never be which leads to the truism to never fold KK pre-flop (except in a very unique situation that does not apply here).Judge your decision based not on the result, but whether it was the right one, which it was...over time you will be rewarded. simo_8ball 0
Simo,You are a thoughtful poster, and I respect your opinion. Please explain, and what is your point?Sorry, I should have elaborated.Just because you will only be up against AA preflop 5% of the time doesn't mean you have to be 95% sure he has it to fold. If you expect him to have AA 60% of the time it's still a clear fold.
