live 1 3 game last night.UTG $350-good player after the flop, gets involved in a lot of hands, makes the right decisions, but just took a sick river last hand for $250 potmp-donkey.175 stacked off to UTG half an hour ago, flop came 337 two spades, utg raise, donkey min reraise, utg push, got called 3rd spade hit the board, utg 88, donkey mucked.me-button-$-200-I rule. I have JJUTG raises to 10mp raises to 20button*me* callsUTG calls.Flop Qd 9h 3d pot $60UTG checksmp bets $20btn callsUTG callsTurn Jd pot $120UTG checksmp checksbtn-??So mp's got ak for sure. I really doubt they're diamonds. I think he's done w/ the hand. UTG looks interested, he's laggy and capable of having diamonds or k10. I've got 160ish behind.Whatcha do?Didn't re pop preflop as I was sure one of the two would have gone all the way, as had happened at the table in the last half hour and I wasn't interested in a flip. Flop maybe raise? Definitely not folding flop, but could have raised I guess. Now the ultra action set/straight/flush card hits and it's on me. hmmmmm......

Well, it depends on two things... at least to me. 1. Are you much better than your opponents. I know that you said one of them was good, but apparently you rule. If you're better than them that don't put your money in if you feel compromised.2. Your read on both opponents. I would guess that the good player probably had a flush draw or J10 on the flop. The only K10 hand that calls you there is K10dd. Bottom line is this: it's highly doubtful that any hand you can beat besides QJ will raise you here. In fact, I don't think there are many dead hands that will call you here. Maybe Ad from the donk? Because of this, I check in this huge spot and see what the river brings. This will give mp a chance to bluff, and will save you some money if someone has the flush.holla,DynOmite

I bet 80 and call a shove (because you'll be getting 4.5:1). You really can't fold because any bet you make will more or less commit you to the pot. And you really have no indication thus far that you are beaten, though a flush draw would probably play this way.

I bet 80-90. Commit yourself to the pot. If UTG is interested he will likely see one more for that price. He has no idea how strong you are likely, so he may even move you in thinking you're weaker than you are.

well lets look at that flop.there is 60 in the pot.MP bets 20.with a Q on board. also 2 diamonds. 1 of your Jack outs is a diamond, which puts 3 on board. it also gives a possible straight. and a OESD for anyone with a 10.U cant call this flop. Its raise or fold. either your jacks are good, or you're way behind. try and make up your mind on this flop.U want to raise to make sure UTG didnt check a monster, and to make sure he isnt going to be getting sweeet delicious odds on a FD.Or you have a good enough read on these guys and know yur jacks are probably no good, and fold. The turn is not the issue here IMO.

i understand the dilema.. i agree w/ royal in that you shoulda tested the jacks on the flop if you were gonna play em at all.. you dont have top pair or an over pair... i agree that the 20 bet looks wierd - why so small? that was the preflop bet that got 3 callers... it could be a scared A K i agree, but if that's your read why didn't you raise him right there? he can't call w/ A K unless it's AdKdthen you hit what could very well be your 2 outer on the turn, which fills / adds possible straight draws & completes the FD... then it's checked to you....? i'd say bet.. if the flush is already there, then shyt you got 10 outs to win it... you can't just check here so the guy w/ the AdQx gets to hit gin on the river.. plus - like i said before - you hit your hand... that was the card you were waiting for, i mean, lolz what are you gonna do check it down & hope nobody bets? cmon now... you have to raise here the way it was played.. again i agree w/ royal in the flop raise / fold selection...

I bet 2/3's of the pot and call a push from a villian, If they have flush you pay them off but you have strong hand here and you might just get a loose call.
