a)With b and c you are drawing to the nuts and want to keep the limpers in. With a you want to get b and c to fold. You could make an argument for raising with c to get the flush draws out but its too weak of a draw with possibly no additional to raise it there.

as i said my stud play is shaky, but tell me about this hand. I start with 10JQ rainbow call the bring in, catch a 9, bet it, pair my queen, bet it, blank river, check call his aces up he made on the river after drawing to a flush where i counted 6 of his suit out. Out now in first hand of LH, K10 to Q10, three bet all in preflop. Stud sucks.

step 4 was the hardest for me, never got past it, though i was there 3 times off one $5 buy into step 1. Then, I stopped.

preflop good, flop good, they could easily have two pair/lower set, turn still easily two pair lower set but straight is a high possibility, you have the full possibility though so good, river looks like a straight, tough to call, i might risk it though you might face a cap so I don't know. tough hand.

i have the same problem, and while I have trouble controlling it, I think I know how. You gotta mix it up based on your feel of the hand. After a raise preflop, follow on the flop almost all of the time given the board is such that there is a chance they will fold on it or you feel you have them dominated, from their perspective it is believable that you hit the flop, etc. If you lead the flop every time you raise preflop, they will call regardless of their hand. If on the turn you feel like you still have them beat say AK vs AJ, bet again. You know what I mean. Oh and fold to those reraises u

Personally I never do it, and I don't think I have the discipline to start. There aren't many situations where I'm in between check calling and bet calling/reraising. Explanations?

ah I was worried about these responses. Preflop raise is staying almost as high as it is now. Try it for a session or two and find out why. Perfecting a preflop maniacal strategy works wonders. Not saying I've perfected it, but I'm working on it. It's six max, sometimes tables aren't gonna be full, VPIP is gonna be high. Is there a standard for 6 handed tables?

I've completed 5000 hands now and I wanted an introductory checkup. I'm no master of Pokertracker so I need help interpreting my stats, especially for 6-max tables. These 5000 hands began with a terrible downswing after which I reworked my game and began an ultra agressive battle to get in the green, so don't make fun of my win rate. Almost all of you. But what I hate most is the page full of responses to every post that someone mentioned earlier, the one with the list. Responding to these posts not only ups the thread but shows how much of a dick you are for replying. Those responses are rarely justified. Who cares if it's a newb post. Oh and I hate the word 'newb'. I hate when people, overly sensitive to the responses I mentioned above, state in their thread, 'this will get flamed but...'.I hate the word flamed.
