oh, oops, i made a bad call, i was sure he was bluffing.
-
I'm in, at 5k, almost exactly average.

Why is the standard raise $15 in a 1/2 game? Flat calling the Js there would be good I think. Don't make a pot sized raise into a large pot when you are folding to a reraise. The second hand was just standard, the situation sucks.

Explaining The Essence Of Poker To Your Mother
DLizzle replied to mattster's topic in General Poker Forum
tell her when you win, never when you loseor don't tell her -
so then he is playing better when drunk. Drinking makes you not care about the money. Not caring about money makes you play better. Drinking makes you play better. Also, for anyone with a $150 bankroll, please put it all at one or two tables. Honestly, what the **** can you do with a $150 bankroll. If you're a winning player and playing within bankroll requirements on a $150 bankroll, your bankroll growth is probably barely keeping up with inflation.

Does Anyone Here Just Play Tournaments?
DLizzle replied to steve7stud's topic in General Poker Forum
I should play all tournaments because I make a lot of money off them, but I don't because I like to mix it up. I'm a slightly profitable nl, limit and plo cash player because I tend to get a little over aggressive when I'm not paying enough attention. In tournaments I have proven over a few years to be very profitable. -
run back and forth to the kitchen. burns food, pisses off table, makes you play like an idiot. that's how i do it.

pretty funny, would be better if these people didn't suck at translating this "language"

I'm all for playing out of bankroll and don't usually like being a ****, but I'd like to clarify something, and maybe I have misunderstood. You started with 400, planning to get to 2000. ok, not even worth mentioning really. I wouldn't be impressed if you had done that. You lost that 400. Then you have $25 left and manage to get it to $2200. Not bad, but you haven't yet reached your goal. 2200-425=1775.Also, I find that people only make these kind of goals when they are trying to get out of a hole or get back on their feet, which makes me think that 400 isn't the only thing you've lost in the p

play over your bankroll, way over. it's not worth grinding for that small of an amount of money.

in my opinion, Partypoker stole from ZeeJustin and I'm more mad at them.
-
I agree with ZeeJustin. Also, you are all overreacting and probably haven't thought this through much.

hahhahahahaa

lolIt is possible. No one has answered or probably understood the question knowing this crowd. I actually don't know, but just answer. When someone types x/y/z referring to PT stats, what do x y and z refer to?
-
So many losers here. If your bankroll isn't enough to cover a round in that game and you will never have the money, talent or ambition to sit in that game, why click the thread?
-
I probably would have check called the flop, and check raised the turn, then called an all in. who knows if that is right, I think I would have done that though.

work 40 hours a week and play poker. No, really, I've done it.
