  1. My reasoning is really that Jacks over Queens is PRETTY weak. With your reasoning outta 600 hands or so the chances of someone making a queen king, ace or a better jack fullhouse is better. I have never seen a hand that bd hold personally there. I figured I was guaranteed 50 bux for sure and if the weak hand does hold I make another 50 bux. I was already up 150 for the session and REALLy thought hard about going for the big one, but really believed it would NOT hold. A few other players said the same thing that I should take the gauranteed $$ over the bigger payout. Here is what ended up happp
  2. I guess you could always ask, but the way I understand at some casiono's giving another player chips is against the rules. The one thing that I do ONCE IN AWHILE is ask to see "both" hands if it is called down on the river, just ask the dealer nicely and they have NO problem doing it (atleast at the 10+ places I have played). I say once in awile because someone always doing it get annoying after the 5th time in a row they ask.hope that helps
  3. So yesterdya I as sitting at a 3/6 full kill B&m game. At this casino they offer a $250 high hand jackpot every hour. With 7 tables in play it usually takes uad or a str8 flush to win but there is the occasion where a full boat takes it.Case in point. With 20 minutes left in the hour I make jacks over queens, at the time I did not notice that eights over aces was the high hand. I was lucky to get some callers who rivered a str8 after I turned the boat. So I flip over the winner getting ready to take the pot when the dealer says "High Hand!" I was in shock and imediatley said, as a joke, "W

  5. I was reading on Paul Phillips livejouranl that a buck is the standard and norm, no matter what the limits. He even said that is if the dealer is profficient and capable. He said something like it is amazing how some poor some dealers are compared to others. He said sure there is exceptions to the rules but for the most part a buck is it.
  6. Just read the blog. That sucks for ya.Well GL in the other tournies.
  7. 15k buy in max at how many people you can actually house. If you have played in5 of more events you get a "reserved" spot. (This should still be nowhere near). The problem with splitting the feild into 2 days is the second group is more tired. Give everyone a day off, then the tourney takes 10 days. So what do you do. So to make it fair your have to be able to house all the aprticipants for day one.But next year it looks like the are going to 3 first days, so who knows? Also the other events are getting HUGE as well. I mean 800+ in the first event WOW. That is almost as much as the previous yea
  8. I think I am reading this right. Youare saying if another spade comes he HAS the NUT Flush. NOT true. Omaha is 2 from your hand and 3 from the board. NO other way. If someone had a flush or a straight the only way he could win is by pairing the board or hitting the case K. Good play though man GUTSY.
  9. I know I am not Daniel but Daniel said something like I figured you had AQ. Chip had the nuts and was hoping Daniel hit something so that he could bet and re-raise him (I think Chip was first to act). He gave Daniel another chance to bet and if not he would still be in the same situation. Either Daniel is going to put moeny in or not. If he does Great, if he doesn't it would have been the same result as if Chip led out, Daniel probably would have folded. This way too Chip might get a look if Daniel shows his cards instead of an auto muck by Daniel. I thinkDaniel KNEW he was beat and did not wa
  10. The SB knows the pot odds (Atleast I would hope) and would figure that you would almost be priced in. Therefore he is begging for a call IMHO. 1/3 more of your stack this early is too much to give out on such a marginal hand as A9.I'd put the SB on TT through AA or AK personally. NOT good for you.
  11. I think that folding here should be easy. It is way to early to try and get involved with a marginal hand like A 9o. The pot odds are close to your favor but at best you are drawing to 3 aces. It is too much of your stack to call off so early. Given the $$ in the pot and how much more it would be to call I think the blind would know you would almost be inclined to call and therefore WANT call. I dont think too many people would want to race with A9 so early.Plus who wants to risk another 1/4 of their stack at this point.
