  1. He didn't know all the other guy had was Ace high. He's a huge underdog to 2P, trips, and Ace high flush draw. A small underdog to pocket pair over T. And virtually coin flip for all other situations. The preflop play was fishy, and after that, it was still fishy. It's true that a pro would probably make the same call due to size of pot after the flop, but how can you play it differently as a fish? fold? That's definitely not fishy. Sometimes fish get it correct accidentally. The point of this hand is he made the fishy play preflop and the flop was lucky for him. It couldn't have be
  2. If it makes u feel any better, the royal flush flop probably wouldn't have happened had you called the bet.At a real table, after the cards are shuffled, they stay in that predetermined order. The flop/turn/river are all determined as soon as the cards are dealt. However, online software outputs cards randomly from the cards that have not been dealt yet, usually based on a time seed. The time difference between you clicking fold vs. clicking call/raise is enough to make it unlikely that the same flop would have flopped had u done either. The flop/turn/river online isn't determined until they
  3. The obvious move was to call on the river rather than a push. With how the bets were going, he's only gonna call you if he has you beat. So what's the point of throwing away your chips. Plus, like everyone says, it's not a bad beat since u didn't put in your chips when you were ahead. You put them in when you were behind. Just a bad read.As far as bad beat's go, I was playing heads up with a 2 to 1 chip advantage and got dealt pocket Q's in BB. he calls and I raised it up a bit. he call's the raise. The flop comes QTx rainbow. Awesome...I'm head's up and I've just hit top set with bar
  4. mistypei mean to say she pushed all-in, not pushed me all-inin fact i only had a slight chip lead as I found out so it was practically all-in for me as well to call.
  5. I don't get it. It was a tough beat that he drew out on you, but he never made a wrong move....the guy with the 3/9c did though, but that's not the point.preflop, obviously he calls with AcQc (raise might be better in my opinion, but his call is not bad play)flop: he catches the nut flush draw. you bet 140, followed by a call of 140.Now there's 280 + preflop of 100 in the pot for a total of 380. He's got good odd's on his money. If you calculate pot odd's, it's only a couple percent short to make it a good call. But taking into account implied odds, it might be a good move. Call is fine

  7. What's wrong with ppl calling trips "sets"? I've always done this. If I'm not mistaken, they are the same.

  9. So I'm playing in a fun (non-money) holdem tourney with some friends. I'm in the final 2 with chip lead and decide to try a play in the dark. I put out a decent raise preflop and get called. 3 clubs come on the flop and I bet out again. I get called.Another club on the turn and I try for a check raise (to try and represent Ac if she didn't have it) She just checks so I figure she might not even have a club.river comes a junk card and I bet out a large bet (most of my chips). She pushes me all-in (really bad play on her part btw...but that's another story) So I'm thinking...oh no, I'm do
