  1. Never heard of Mitch Daniels but I know that JC Watts is a pretty prominent, popular, black, (former?) senator from Oklahoma.
  2. I am..but I do not bartend Friday nights. I would, however, be obv willing to meet up for drinks that night. My bar is right off I-80, just east of Des Moines and obviously I can run a tab there.. so, we're all golden. It's the Olde Town Tap, in Altoona.. Exit 141 off I-80. Let me know..I've been checking here more regularly..but, Facebook's probably the best way to get ahold of me.Also, if your buddy is from Carroll there's a strong chance we know some of the same people and could have a little bit of a get together.. PM me his name or something and I'll talk to the couple of kids I know fr
  3. Man, I love the Packers.. But, Christ.. undefeated? Not even close.
  4. Here ya go, Nik..Svend and Hayden Svend ChristensenHope you guys have all been well.
  5. Well, my baby's going to be here in 4 weeksish.. so I better get going. Hope you guys are all doing well and I miss bullshitting with ya'll. Take care of yourselves, and each other.
  6. Have I missed anything in the last 418 pages?
  7. Hey guys.. hope you've all been well.
  8. Thanks for all your well wishes on Facebook.
  9. Gonna guess that it's Kesha, Tik Tok.
  10. Aaron Rodgers is the worst quarterback in the league(he did overthrow Jennings in overtime and was singlehandedly responsbile for losing the game), so I think there's some validity to using winning percentage as the ultimate decider. Romo's good, not great. He's inconsistet. He's better than most but not elite. Either way, I think you should come up with a formula for a QB-RPI. High QB rating in game versus bad statistical team isn't worth quite as much as a high rating in a game against a very highly rated team. Bad games against bad teams are weighted heavier.. take that number and multiply
  11. I suppose the point I was trying to make is that a stat that rates Tony Romo as a better quarterback than Joe Montana or Tom Brady is probably not always going to be the best barometer for perfromance.I think that RAC guy is a bit off base, but I don't think Tony Romo is an elite or top 5 QB by any means.
  12. If you think Tony Romo played a good game, then you're wrong. Sorry.
  13. Yeah..I'd much rather see a football game turn(or be decided by) a relatively harmless, otherwise inconsequential action as opposed to actual football plays.
  14. Shonn with two N's, sir. I predicted the losers, dummy. Also, I've decided that the Colts are now my least favorite team. I hope Shonn Greene shits on the giant horseshoe at midfield.
  15. So, you think they've got pass coverage and run defense nailed down then? Brilliant. LOOOOOOL. Which just tells you how overrated passer rating is as statistical marker for performance.
  16. Man, I hate the Vikings winning.. but I LOOOOOOVE the Cowboys losing.
  17. Christ, Brvholtz.. I'm an Iowan. I root for Warner too. But they just gave up 187 points in two games. They need more than a bit of offensive line help. And I thought Cowboy fans were obnoxious.
