  1. I've never watched you play but the way you think about the game and talk about it, I'd think you'll be beating $100nl pretty soon as long as you don't have big tilt/game selection leaks. Lots of people know how to play relatively well (it's not that hard) but don't have the discipline to not do stupid stuff because they are bored/tilted etc.Like I think a 27/22 player at smaller stakes has a much smaller learning curve than a 20/17 with the same win rate. It's pretty easy to play TAG and win w/o much thought at lower stakes, whereas playing lots of hands you're in way more spots more often
  2. Yeah I mean I had a very good month money wise, but for the last 10 or so days my goal was to not fuck it up instead of justp laying as well as I could. Let results mess with my head a lil and just wanted to book a solid month. That's also why I won't be playing today :)Starting tmrw I'm gonna destroy though.
  3. I'd probably c/c, c/c. Getting raised on this board sucks so bad and your hand has showdown value. Obv you can c/r or w/e on river if you hit a club. C/R turn is way overplaying our hand, it's not like he's ever going to fold something better than AK to a c/r so if we're already ahead of what he'll bet and we aren't folding anything we are behind, then c/r doesn't make any sense.
  4. weeeeeeeeeeeeeee jackpot! You just flopped TPTK in a big ol 3bet pot, no way to get away from it and because of 3villains there's no way you can check here and risk giving any one a gutshot/oe/flush draw/2 outter for free. I'd bet $38 and be calling any raise. I don't see any other way to play the hand.
  5. Yeah you gotta if you call turn, call river due to bet/pot size. If the turn or river were a J I'd fold but that's it.
  6. Your flop cbet is just way too small here. The drawier/scarier the board is the bigger your cbet should be. Not only because you can stack him if he has a draw and goes with it, but because the board can run off bad and you lose value when he has Jx and stuff when the board comes worse or you actually get outdrawn. With these bet sizes call flop is okay and then obv you hafta call turn here.
  7. River is standard shove and there is def value to be had there.
  8. No I don't ever flat with those types of hands when 15%ish of effective stacks are going in pf. I have no idea where I'm at preflop, if I'm trying to hit a set or trying to avoid big cards or what. I'll either 4bet small as a bluff (rarely), fold, or if I'm tilted I'll jam them as a "I dunno wtf to do but you're 3betting too much and you might fold better or call with worse" type thing.
  9. You can't c/r turn if you want to rep JJ-KK. I think you should worry less about trying to get stacks in and more about getting as much value as possible. I'd normally bet turn here and then check river or I'd bet/bet. If you want to check turn and induce bets from worse hands I think you need to c/c turn and go for small c/r on river.
  10. hahaha. I don't think I played that hand well. He was a 13/10 at the time over like 28 hands. But turns out he's like a 25/20. And a big winner that was playing 5-10nl as well. Oopsies. I think my pf call is the worst part... I fold pf there like 90% of the time.
  11. ima edit out that above post, just cuz im paranoid about that shit, but I'll pm reasoning if anyone wants to know later.

  13. These 2-7 tables are going to be the death of me. You get 10bbs if you win with 2-7. 14. Forgot how to read the board when we turned 18?
  15. Hand 1: Villains stop calling these 3bets!Hand 2: same!Hand 3: WOOO!!! A situation that I could be involved in. I'd call here with all my suited gappers/connectors/AQ/TT-JJ/sometimes AK/KK/AA and even rarer QQ, but almost always 4betting QQ. Flop I'd probably call with 45hh, 56hh, 68hh, any two hearts that are over cards (I'd sometimes raise, but usually flat), actually I'd raise a decent amount with missed overcards that have no draw or back door flush draw, but I'd sometimes call too, and rarely fold them. All combo draws I'm raising, any flush draw with an over card I'm raising (a lot of
  16. Hand 1. I wouldn't flat as villain very often, if I did it would be weighted heavily towards big hands that I'm trapping with, like KK and AA. I would 4bet with 88-QQ, AQ/AK, fold the rest of my hands. Obv once I flat pf I'm call/call/calling with KK or AA. Occasionally I'd call with like QKcc and jam it if the flop didn't come A high and there was room with stacks. If small clubs were in my range, I'd call, if I had Axcc in my range I'd raise get it in. If I had 35 in my range I'd sometimes call flop, call turn, I'd sometimes raise get it in on the flop, and I'd sometimes call flop, jam
  17. Meh, I don;t know what I really want, but without me having hole cards in these 3b pots, it's impossible to say how I'd react Even ranges would be fine. I guess I'll just answer what I'd do with my actual calling range... this will take awhile
  18. Meh I scrolled really quick after I saw AThh hand. But I'd rather you ask me what I'd do in these spots if I didn't know your hole cards, knew my hole cards and what your stats were. I don't wanna bias myself by saying I'd play a certain way, so either find new ones if you think I peaked or, edit out your hole cards imo.
  19. I guess what I'm really saying is positional advantage > betting lead even when the pot is 24bbs when effective stacks are another 150+bbs. The stack:pot is too big to overcome the positional disadvantage imo.
  20. In regards to the play. I think it may be fine but it hasn't been studied enough or taught enough for me to incorporate it. I'm not good enough to figure out optimal strategies to exploit people etc, I need someone to prove to me that something works well, me to think about it and then I adopt it into my game. I doubt I'll ever be a top tier player because I don't think deeply enough to come up with a new style or new game theory that will work. I just try to mimic what really good players do and figure out why it's a good play.People have not talked enough in depth about leading in 3bet p
  21. This hand is really standard. You should probably be folding KQcc UTG in a 9handed game, especially if you don't like your options when you flop top 2 on a dry board. But, bet flop at like $4, you got a lot of callers and Kx/TJ/AQ will all call so get big value and dont let people draw wityh random shit for cheap.Bet turn big, that's a complete blanko. If you bet turn and he raises you it's an LOL shove. I'm not like laughing at how awesome it is to get raised on the turn, but we can't ever fold and people do stupid things all the time. I'd much rather bet flop bet turn bet river than get
