  1. Damn you made me laugh twice in one night! These days that's saying something.
  2. Sportsbook is part of Merge, Bodog is leaving the US market after this year, software sucks but the games are okay. Merge is the biggest still letting existing US players play but at the moment if you don't have a Merge account (US players) you can't open one. Merge is good for cash and MTTs (no real low stakes MTTs though) but not much for sngs except for supers. I don't know about Sportsbook's rep as far as withdrawals go.
  3. I have the .eu downloaded I had to use a proxy server to download and have to run as admin to open but I have all access to observe real money games.
  4. New FTP update: http://www.subjectpoker.com/2011/08/ftps-830-statement/
  5. The only reason funds can be seized now is because of the UIGEA and murky waters regarding online poker. With legislation in place this will change and with names like Caesars/WSOP and Wynn Resorts heading up online poker sites people will be very likely to have a certain amount of automatic trust in these companies. The volume is another thing, with legislation it is inevitable that the US sites will quickly become the top sites in the world, PokerStars may remain the largest for awhile but if the US sites allow non-US players a company like Caesars with the WSOP brand could well over take ev
  6. From all I've read the Barton bill is actually vague as to whether or not non US players will be allowed to register and deposit on US sites. As for non US based companies i.e. those not affiliated with a B&M casino or land based Dog/Horse track/poker room, may be allowed to get a US license after 2 years. We online poker players need to push for and support the Barton bill NOT the Reid bill. The Reid bill will screw us in the long run by severely limiting who can get licensing to B&Ms in Nevada and NJ meaning about 3 or 4 casino groups will pretty much have a monopoly on online poker i
  7. Well try to play some, should of know I was screwed when my mouse broke. Keep getting my shoves called by tiny SCs and they always won. I'm done for now!So jealous Kobe!
  8. I'm suffering from mouse runbad, damn thing broke on me and I didn't even throw it :-) Haven't decided what I'm going to do today but maybe I'll decide to play and bink something.
  9. LOL I'm pretty sure he's Korean!
  10. Yeah rough day here too - 14 games 2 min cashes - down about $80, not a Funday Sunday but it could of been worse :-)So being a child of the 70s I'll just "Keep On Smiling" EDIT 5:49 am est: Played a little wee hours poker and binked the $5 bounty 6 max on Merge 1/83 and 16/180 (ITM) in the $1750 $5 cubed on Merge. Thanks to these games I ended up breaking even for the day errrr yesterday.
  11. Grinding a bunch of MTTs on Hero/Merge today! All the guarantees have been bumped up again so some pretty nice games now!
  12. Played a little over 700 hands of 4NL FR today and finished down 1.5 buy ins. One thing I noticed that I'm going to have to learn to watch out for:It seems like FR 4NL players are either trappier, which I doubt, or just so fishy that they play very passively. I got flatted with KK, AK, QQ and then they would just flat on any streets I bet. I also had this happen a few when they flopped sets or ever straights. I was surprised to see their hands on a number of occasions since they had played so passively on all streets. I'm used to way more aggression so it's easier to know I'm beaten. Not exact
  13. I'm pretty much getting it in here. He probably limped a big pair and unless it's KK you have him with your 2 pair. If he's on a club draw and hits you still have a few outs for a boat and there is more chance he won't hit than he will. If he does have KK, oh well it's a cooler, reload and try again. If he were a trappy nit I might think about folding but against someone with his stats, no way. I do use the PT3 replayer for review for the HUD but I hate that replayer, the HEM one is so much better. The Universal replayer doesn't have the HUD so that is a drawback but it's so much better than
  14. I found this: It loads the whole session but if you have an idea of which hand it is it's pretty easy to find: http://gottatalkpoker.com/hhconv/I posted one and it works fine on this forum. Kind of a pain but better than doing it manually.Edit: lol looked above and I might be a bit late with this reply.
  15. The PT3 built in hand converter works fine, it's what I used on my hand above, does HEM not have a built in hand formatter? Since I have PT3 I've never tried to use any other converter. Let me ask a couple of people I know who use HEM. Just a note, I found out how to load the Merge hand histories into the Universal Replayer to review my games if anyone doesn't to know how let me know. It's so much easier to review using the replayer.
  16. I can see him doing it with any AQ combo and the other hands Colbalt mentions. Yeah as played, pre-flop he could have QQ here and even 88 but there are enough hands he can have that are beaten here to make a call reasonably profitable. Like I said I'm stubborn but honestly I've played 100s of thousands of hands online and live (mostly online) and I have to say I rarely get beaten by set over set. If he has a club draw we stand 36% or so chance of losing if he hits his draw but a 64% chance of winning. While I can understand a fold and certainly don't think it was bad, I still think calling wil
  17. Are you playing on Merge or Bodog? I had something weird happen a week or so ago with PT3 importing cash hands correctly from Merge.
  18. I'm pretty aggressive as well which, within reason, works well at 6 max but there is something less tilting to me about FR. I did notice my stats were about the same at FR as 6 max, around 22/18 with 7% 3 betting or so, I know this is okay for 6 max but is it too loose for FR? I tighten up my EP hand range some to account for the additional players but I still seem to run about the same stats wise. I did pull of a few bluffs tbh and I seem to get more folds to c-bets in FR. Sample size is way too small to know for sure though.
  19. Personally I can't imagine folding here, there is too much he can have that you beat but I'm stubborn like that.
  20. Well after a downswing at 10NL 6 max and a few ugly games at 4NL 6 max I decided to give 4NL FR a try. It went well, FR was softer and less aggressive than 6 max. I need a lower variance option to grind my bankroll back up after some long running MTT runbad I've been experiencing so I think it's FR for now. I made a big $12.88 over 330 hands for my first short session. So far this month has been pretty decent over the few days I played cash except for a couple of days. Now if I can just remember bluffing doesn't work too well at 4 and 10NL. :-)One good thing is even though FR is slower I shoul
  21. Yeah I agree, betting the flop would have been best. They were fairly passive and not likely to 4 bet me without a monster. Yes I did lose to AK, which he flatted me with pre, didn't really see that coming but as I said they were passive. Just a cooler, my main concern was that I misplayed it not that I lost the hand.I've only been playing 10NL on Merge for about a week, sort of seem to remember seeing you, I'm FU2DOJ.
  22. Did I play this badly, line check. I think I played it fine but someone I know says otherwise. If you think I did please explain why.My thinking, in a 3 way pot I didn't think checking after 3 betting looked to funny because I'm 3 betting a few hands I would definitely check on that flop. I prefer to let them lead and/or catch up on the turn. The bb seemed okay, nothing great but nothing too fishy either, no read on UTG2Merge - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 playersHand converted by PokerTracker 3CO: $10.00BTN: $13.22Hero (SB): $9.14BB: $16.96UTG: $12.86MP: $10.79Hero posts SB $0.05, BB posts B
