  1. i agree with this point.BUT, it's still important that the OP knows that JTo is unplayable in middle position to a 7xbb raise.
  2. I hope that's right on the money, just to see Koop's reaction. lol If Alabama wins, I am not gonna rub it in that much or anything. I will just keep saying the exact same thing I have said all along. Alabama in a NT contender and one of the best teams in the country. If we lose, I will be upset, but I won't make any unreasonable excuses (if we sustain injuries to every single starter...that might be a reasonable excuse.....), I will admit we got beat, and then I will still say we are one of the top teams in the country. What is your prediction? Do you honestly see ANYONE scoring over 20 agains
  3. there's really absolutely no problem with never laying down Kings pre-flop in cash game, especially on-line. I'd rather just get all my money in with the Kings and then if i'm up against Aces, just rebuy.
  4. Yep, poker tracker is pretty much the best out there.
  5. Sorry, but it's a little late for this comment. This happened long ago.Yea I know, but I just wanted to state my opinion. Which is the great thing about this forum.a lot of veterans feel that anyone besides a veteran doesn't have the right to post their opinion because the veteran opinion is the only opinion. listen guys, i respect you all but you're not soooo much more better than us. just think if daniel was thinking about doing this when you were just a newbie. then how would you feel about this?there IS a difference between veterans and newbies and you need to see that. Veterans have al
  6. seriously, is quoting other people really that hard? i don't understand why people have such a hard time with it.
  7. Well thank you Captain. :wink:hahahahaha
  8. this is actually my first FYP. No one has had the huevos to alter my original posts. congrads!
  9. The check's in the mail. this is the point where you nominate me.
  10. Although i see your point, I think it's more that the newbies are not in touch with the rules, both written and unwritten on this forum and so they cross lines in which they cannot see. Moderators do more than just delete other people's posts, they serve to protect the newbies and warn the veterans when they get out of line. You may not see the moderators chastise someone in a post, but i know that they often send messages to veterans whom they feel are getting a little too out of hand with their flames.Obviously whoever is goign to be the moderator is going to be picked carefully enough to
  11. hard work? you mean just quoting people posting worthless stuff? c'mon now.Not one person on this forum has gotten to 300 posts just quoting people. There's a lot of that stuff going on, but please give me a list of people who have reached veteran status without adding something to the forum.
  12. I want to emphasize one thing. The people who recently joined are not being punished. They have access to everything else that all the rest of us have had access too. Rather look at it as a reward for those who have spent many hours contributing to this forum in one way or another, whether it be posting strategy, making people laugh, or just creating some sort of community feeling. Everyone else who have just joined will be rewarded in due time, they just have to go through all the hard work of getting to veteran status.
  13. I agree with Stylin_Fish and htink this is a good idea. More mods! This solves so much of the problems.Originally i thought that a vets forum would be great. I don't like the fact that people who have been here longer think that they should have the same rights as people who contribute. It's great that they read everything, but if they are to get some sort of privledge, they should be contributing as well. Sure, there are many many stupid meaningless posts by veterans of the forum, but the fact is that we're here putting our time into the forum. The well-respected veterans of this forum
  14. it's really not a +EV move to make. You're only doing it for the psychological advantages. It makes your opponent confused and it's a way to mix up your play. Really though, i think it should almost never be moved and it's often used too much. It's a much more logical and +EV move to just look at your hand.
  15. why'd you bump this? not flaming, just curious.
  16. I'm not one to start a new thread and clutter general up even MORE but this is getting ridiculous. It's like no one is even thinking before they post up a new thread. I don't know if people are being intentionally stupid or whatever but it's not funny. I don't even understand half the things said. I don't really understand why these posts are coming now. They are mostly being made by people who signed up before the charter member offer, but suddenly come out of the woodworks now.basically I am just asking that you THINK before posting. Just a little.
  17. you obviously don't know what you're talking about. you must be strong-stupid.
  18. hahahahaha i TOTALLY pictured Kowboy saying this like Napoleon Dynamite.
  19. OP, your best bet for having DN answer this question is posting it in Strat and hope DN does his one-a-days again.
  20. my first Neg-O of this season! looking forward to playing with you guys!
