  1. I really don't care if you say the man's middle name. It's his middle name for Christ's sake; there's nothing wrong with saying someone's name... But the OP said something about "what Christian has a middle name Hussein?" The answer is that there are likely thousands and thousands. There are Christians from all manner of nations. As if someone's middle name belies their religious affiliation! And you know people can convert to Christianity. Let's not even get into the question of why everyone seems to care if he is Muslim, as if that is somehow un-American, and secretly evil. Muslims a
  2. People eat meat. If I was vegan I would be all for hunting. Because hunting means happy animals, and that is what it is all about right? Animals rights to being happy and live fulfilling lives? What do you think Daniel?
  3. Who is against hunting, and why???People have been hunting for thousands of years!Hunting is natural. It is certainly better than farm-raised meat. I'm all for it, and I am a liberal. but I take liberal in the strictest sense of the word: freedom to personally choose.
  4. And my middle name's "Who the F Cares"Bet you didn't know that. Now you do. I am planning on letting everyone know, so that they can run in fear from my NAME, and not what I stand for. I find that method works very well to keep the ignorant ones away. I think of it as my little enlightened bubble.
  5. Hmmm... That's a good way of stating it. I don't know as much about Islam as I do about Christianity. I do however know that Christianity has indeed changed a lot over the years (various newer sects of Christianty and also the changes in Catholicism). Just not enough for ME
  6. Got to love your use of the word anachronistic. I had to google it... You could say that about so many Christians as well. Quaintly anachronistic.
  7. I meant, it is narrow minded to assume that because of their color that is all you need to know, as if their color tells you that they support the same views as you do.
  8. I love that McCain is white, because he understands where I, as a white voter, am coming from. I don't know that Obama, being black can understand what my predominantly white ideals are really all about. Now, what I just said in the above paragraph is not something I actually believe. But to me it is just as narrow-minded as if you switched the perspective around to be from the black point of view. Maybe it is not technically racist, but definitely narrow-minded.
  9. You're right, if a black person votes for a president simply because they are black, it is just as racist as a white person choosing a president because they are white. I don't know that it is such a big deal, people choose candidates for all sorts of reasons, some of which are not the most educated. Far worse would be not voting for someone who is very qualified, simply because you don't like their race.
