  1. I play in a live game 30/60, I wouldn't try this against the players on stars.
  2. Hand 1: In my game the standard line goes raise 5xish and then bet pot in most situations so that really doesn't tell us anything. Since he just flat called the raise pre-draw he could have as bad as a good T draw. Since I drew 2 he will bet in that spot almost 100% of the time (I think he would check an A, K, or bad Q), plus it felt like he was pulling some kind of move. Results: He had the old 97764 :)Hand 2: I think I really had to choice but to make my hand obvious here. I also think it’s fairly close as to whether that's a shove on the flop or not. How do you guys tend to play hands in ea
  3. Hey guys here are a few hands from my last session. I will be posting more PLO and 2-7 SD hands as they are the games I have the least experience and are by far my worst games. In PLO we play with a 100 BB cap and in the 2-7 we play with a 50 BB cap and a 1/4 ante ratio. This might be a hand you would have to be there for but is calling here on the river pushing it?No Limit 2-7 Single DrawUTGUTG+1MPVillainButtonHero is SBVil is BBHand: [Qs Qh 7c 3d 2h]Pre-draw: (3.25 BB)UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP, folds, CO folds, Button folds, Hero raises to 5.75x, Vil callsHero takes 2, Vil takes 1.Hand: [Td
  4. Yep, he is sorta a calling station in general though.
  5. I will for sure get called by any two pair hand, I turn these guys into calling stations with the style I employ in Stud 8.
  6. In Stud 8 one of the skills you will learn is moving people off high hands so you can take the high half of the pot. Obviously I wouldn't try this on calling stations but I will against tight players as well as good players. Being that I have a K up this hand I can represent K's in this spot and move him off Q's, if he calls or re-raises I will know he has a better hand then K's and can play perfectly against him on later streets. This play also adds deception to my game and will gain me extra bets in the future, people are not going to pay me off if they know I always have it in these type of
  7. Hand 1: I played this hand because I can bluff out the Q's and get heads up with the 6 which isn't a bad spot at all IMO. As to why I bet the river, he is obviously drawing to a naked low with a pair and the only way he scoops the pot is if he catches J's up or trip 2's.Hand 2: Actually being that this flop is really dry I have a really wide range here. To me it seemed like he would jam with a K and flat call there with hands like 99 or a 7, as well as sets and two pair. On the turn he didn't really look like he had much of hand so I bet out 28x and moved him off TT (fairly good readJamie). As
  8. the 4 of diamonds was the 3 and the 3 was the 4 of spades, actually its not aweful to fold Q's there considering the reverse implied odds and the fact that I will have K's there very often.
  9. Just a interesting hand I thought, I pretty much pwn Vil 1 on a regular basis since he is so inside the box.Stud 83rd Street - (1.40 SB)Player: xx xx 3:diamond:___foldsVil 1: xx xx Q:club:___raises___foldsVil 2: xx xx 6:club:___calls___callsPlayer: xx xx 4:spade:___foldsHero: 8:diamond: 8:heart: K:heart:___raises4th Street - (6.40 SB)Vil 2: xx xx 6:club: 2:spade:___callsHero: 8:diamond: 8:heart: K:heart: 7:diamond:___bets5th Street - (4.20 BB)Vil 2: xx xx 6:club: 2:spade: J:club:___callsHero: 8:diamond: 8:heart : K:heart : 7:diamond: T:club:___bets6th Street - (6.20 BB)Vil 2: xx xx 6:club: 2:s
  10. I would rather draw two to the 3A then draw to a 93A, but the rest is good
  11. I don't know much about villain so I wouldn't be folding that river unless I knew a bit more about him. Since your line = a 87, if your never folding a 87 there and he knows that then you can safely fold your 98.
  12. I would 3 bet or fold that hand predraw. I like your line except maybe the river.
  13. Like yourself I'm very inexperienced in Badugi however I would assume Jamie played this hand this way for a few reasons. 1) Because of his LAG image and 2) Because the player didn't jam the pot early indicating a weak Badugi.
  14. I would just like to say I declare an e-fight against you gfdsa. You mocked my hatred of Razz and now I'm mocking you for your love of monopoly. So prepare for a severe e-lung removal!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. this plus fold pre-draw unless you have control over the table.
  16. Fold pre-draw, that hand doesn't do very well in limped pots. Bet after the first draw and the rest is fine.
  17. Level of fun for the 8 game from first to worst for me = Stud 8, Omaha 8, 2-7 TD, LHE, NLHE, PLO, Stud Hi, Razz Razz RAZZZZZZ!!!!!! I needed three extra razzes for obvious reasons.
  18. You are most likely beat here but you should have never bet the T in the first place on the river.
  19. In position I could see Jamie's point but OOP I highly disagree.
  20. Meh tried to play today with my new Grizzer B'ar name but someone else apparently already has that name So I will set up a new account with the name Pdiddydoo22
