  1. IF the villain isn't a donk, I think that, most of the time, we'll see bottom two pair here. Considering that you've been playing TAG, your pre-flop raise UTG means "a premium pair". On that board, he hopes that's what you have.
  2. Seconded. What do we expect to get called with? A8 off-suit? No. Any hand that calls small-medium bet here, will call the large one as well.
  3. If he had 400-500, then it's a tough one. But I'd fold it, I guess. TPTK - I don't risk all my money on it.
  4. Given your stack size - shove. You still have a backdoor flush draw... if things turn ugly.
  5. It does, it did to me, but probability is around 1:100. So, if you're afraid of another set beating you on the flop - don't play poker. As for this hand, I agree with a huge raise on the flop here. We're against diamond and straight draws. Also, if he has two pairs, he still has outs that will beat us. Fold the river.P.S. And yeah, no "super" plays on the turn.
  6. I smell AQ or/and a flush draw. Worst case scenario - AQs.
  7. "Nice work" - Rub it in I can't complain about first two losses. Set over set (1 to 100 probability), I'm taking my chances. The bad thing is that happened back to back. Both times with the 8's. After the second, I went down to a mere 25$ and (yeah, bragging) fought my way back to 320$. Never had over $1,200, around a $1,000, but it's a small difference. I guess, I should've slow down on the turn, especially after his call on the flop. But I, completely, misread his hand.
  8. I do play with this guy every week, sometimes twice a week. And as long as he's not very lucky that day, he's done within a couple of hours, after reloading 2-4 times. My concern was about MY play.Happy to see I'm not the only one going broke with this hand.----------------------------------------------------------------------P.S. I couldn't possibly put him on that hand. Thoughts were Ahx (not Ahxh, because of his betting), Kh10x or something like 10x9x.Does anybody see him having Kh8h here?
  9. And If I'm not mistaken, he called your river bet and showed KK or you're gonna chop it.Villain's actions PF suggest that he has to have a very strong hand. Even his 6$ bet (about 1/3 of the pot) on the turn seems like he's trapping you so, raise him.
  10. Bet the flop, like you're trying to steal it. You'd be surprised...And as it was said above, what action do you expect at the passive table, when you check?
  11. I don't like check-raising the turn as well. Lead out and, if he calls, you get to see the river for 1/3 of the price, because I don't think he's folding "an OBV strong hand" here (given 2.5 to 1 pot odds).
  12. Agree. If he's a standard player he would raise with KQ from MP. With JT suited, he's probably raising PF too. It smells like JT offsuit most of the time. If the game is that crazy, we can easily expect K9 as well.About shipping it... If we have an Ace of Spades, then it's possible.
  13. I, really, didn't think he has an A-high flush. Knowing him he'd check or bet 1/2 the pot. As I posted, if he bets precisely 100$ on the turn, I would strongly consider folding. Calling down is not an option. If he has what we think he has (Ahx, two pair), no way I'm letting him see the river that cheap. He showed the ability to fold turn/river to the big raises before, so we have a FE. And of course he would lead with the lower flush here. Remember, he might think that we don't have hearts and the turn scared us as well.Having an open-ended straight-flush draw, I shoved...Ok, my thoughts thro
