Instead, she came within 7000 votes of winning and if you look county-by-county at the election results, Wisconsin is far bluer than it was in 2010. I've been working 70+ hours for the last 2 months and it looks to be paying off. I now have contacts in 3 states willing to hire me for 2012 campaigns and I'm 50/50 to get a promotion (I don't expect it, but to be considered feels awesome). Yup, it's pretty drastic once you get north of Milwaukee or the Wisconsin Dells. I grew up in southern WI and went to school in northern WI, and I definitely prefer soWI.And FWIW, outside of Green Bay, Wausau, and Eau Claire, northern WI is very white, and very racist. Though I can't speak for the Superior area, as I've never had any reason to go there.
