  1. God, right now I'm doing homework in the passenger seat on the iPad jamming out to some jay z. Gonna be beast. Tho missing a national televised OU game is kinda sad for me. Hope we pull it out!
  2. Lol. Edit: Meh, seems like the standard republican stance on this issue, tho them overlooking the amount of money that can be made if/when federally regulated
  3. amazing open to $40 at a 1/2 game. protect your hand. such bad luck tho! move to limits where they respect your raises!
  4. Its live 1/2. Everyone is an idiot. Doubt anyone will really notice
  5. have to agree tho, this is a pretty easy call. Not too much of pulling out a cape
  6. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IAN! Kid is such a herohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKPXzvwBCts
  7. I haven't watched too much of the coverage this year, tho from what I have watched, they are doing a better job of editing. Not just showing heaps of coolers, heaps of flips, and big bluffs (well, i dunno, thats just my impression from what I have seen). Obviously being a huge poker fan, I would have loved to see live coverage again to see table dynamics, see if I'm hand reading properly, etc; on the other hand, I just don't see how it would continue to be possible to have that type of coverage b/c there is only such a percentage of people in the poker market that will continuously watch that
  8. Your biggest concern is to keep improving your game. I wouldn't get too caught up in playing WCOOPs. Yes, maybe take a shot at the $215 WCOOP on Sundays b/c they will have such amazing value. But if you continue to get better, post a bit, good things can happen.
  9. we got $3r heroes itt! Congrats buddy! Keep it up!
  10. Guys got skills! Don't let these guys bring you down man! F the haters. Limp aces and rub that $670 straight on your tits
  11. Well it comes down to what kind of what kind of tournaments you are playing, how deep effective stacks are, table dynamics. I feel that in turbo donkaments, stealing to get like (22-25bb stacks), isn't the greatest thing. I think that you need to know how to shovebot better than the rest, as well as know proper calling ranges.I'm not too sure exactly what you are questioning here tho. Should you try that style? I definitely think so! There are many advantages to it b/c many players do not know how to adjust to it. Oh, and at the bubble is usually the best time to build your stack and set yours
  12. CONGRATS BRO! THE ROOM OWES YOU NOTHING BUT YOU GET SOMETHING! WELL PLAYED!!!!edit: but seriously, limping aces in a 1/2 game....come on man
  13. Well you did post a hand in a strategy forum. Don't see how limping aces at a 1/2 game is ever good.
  14. Only things I could think about when reading this thread. And Ian, bowling alley games can be hella profitable!
  15. Well every situation has to be taken into account. We aren't playing in a vacuum, though sometimes one play seems to be better than another play. When we face action w/ AQ, we obviously have to think, "how active has this villain been", "what position", "does villain like to steal", "will villain get into leveling wars w/ people". There are so many different dynamics that come into play when playing tournament poker. For example, taggish player w/ 35bbs opens MP. competent reg 3bet jams the button w/ 22bbs, and we are in the SB w/ AQo. This is a spot where you have to take into account everyth
  16. I think an ace and a queen are pretty strong holdings in unlimited betting Texas holdem
