  1. Can you give me a brief desc. about what those stats mean?
  2. I don't have pokertracker and have never used it, but I am really curious what it has to say about my play. I don't know what to offer for the info other than a thank you, and a promise to show my cards if we play together. My screen name is Grimlock3 and I play 3-6 or 5-10 limit hold-em on UB. I also play a lot of triple draw but I doubt PT keeps track of that. Thanks in advance,Grim
  3. I was in his pool last year through LAP Forum and it was a lot of fun, but you don't draft players you just put them in order of who will do the best. Sort of like confidence points in a football pool. But last year was pretty hard with a lot of no names playing in the events (and that number should only increase this year). Also, it is pretty funny to be in a fantasy pool with the players that you have on your team. I remember when Ted Forrest and Todd Brunson were running away with the pool after the first week last year. It's like having Derek Jeter leading your fantasy baseball league
  4. Faketree,I have a regular game going in San Jose. It used to be on Wednesday nights but I have a hard time getting up the next day, so the game is in the process of moving to saturdays. The format that we like the best is H2O. We play the H and O no/pot limit respectively with blinds of 0.50/$1 and a $50 cap. The 2-7 triple draw is played limit $4/$8 (blinds $1/$2). The buy in is whatever you want but standard is $100. I know SJ is quite a ways from Rosa, but maybe we can get something going. Currently I have a list of maybe 15 regular players, although I can only fit 11 of them around
  5. I was just at the Shooting Star and he signed my triple draw section of SS2 before he hit the free buffet. Terrible penmenship but one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. I felt like a total fanboy standing there with my book waiting for him to show up, but it was all worth it.Thanks again Dan! Hope you end today with a mountain of chips.Grimlock
  6. Did anyone else question what they were doing with there life when that line came out on Tilt last night? My fiancee and I looked at each other and it took a good three seconds before we asked if we had actually just heard that. I honestly look at Tilt as one of the best comedys on TV, not a poker show. That whole scene just left me on the floor. The fact that they both are betting all their money with two pair without a thought that the flush and straight just hit ... hilarious. For those that dont remember the hand it went something like this.Hero: KQoInternet Finger Guy: Q9oBoard: Kd Q
  7. I totally agree. I would love to play triple draw at the world series. I looked at the list three times before I gave up. I just couldn't believe it wasn't there. It's all I play online now and I am convinced it is the funnest game ever invented.Grimlock
  8. I think I've played with you a few times ... I play triple draw there anywhere from .25/.50 to 3/6.Grimlock
  9. Troutsmart/Boothy,Thanks for the reply. I understand the 'read' part of the game, but when you are drawing three times in a limit game it just seems that you can't stay pat with bad 8's or 9's all that often and be succesfull. Drawing to an 86 or better isn't that hard when you get three draws at it, so I find it hard to keep drawing out of position when the best I can make is an 87.Grimlock
  10. Ultimate bet. I hate mentioning it by name since Daniel has had issues with them in the past, but they are the only game in town for triple draw.
  11. I would love to hear Daniel's opninion on this but if anyone else plays this game and has some insight I would like to hear it. I have found that the only place I can play triple draw at a low limit(or any limit for that mater) is online, but very often the game will have only 2 or 3 other players in it. Even when the game starts out at a full 6 once one takes a couple beats they scram. I find that I can use the starting hand requirements along with the strategy Daniel wrote about in SS2 to be a winner at the game when the table is full, but I feel like I am paying too many blinds by continuin
  12. I just read my post and realized the major question I had was left out so here it is:How should my starting hand requirements change when playing when playing in a game with 4 or less players, both in and out of the blinds? Thanks,Grimlock

  14. I used to really like Transformers when I was a kid. It's also funny to me to have a picture of Grimlock as my avatar on stars.
