  1. Is there a general rule of thumb for sit an go bankrolls? I am interested in playing $30 to $50 sit and go's, how much money should i have in my bankroll??
  2. Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on
  3. Ok, I play mostly $0.50/$1.00 limit holdem and some $1/$2 limit when my bankroll can handle it. I'm just curious, do the number of players seeing the flop have a significant role in your table selection? If so, then what percentage of players seeing the flop do you look for? Thanks for your help
  4. Bad strategy. If you're called you're definitely losing going into the flop, unless of course a loose player calls with Ax, KQ...ect. Neglecting that, the best situation you're hoping for is a race which of course isn't a good thing when you have the worst of it
  5. Ok, I was reading a post just now and I saw that a guy was waiting until he had $600 (300 x bb) before he moved up to 1/2 limit. I've only been to one casino before and when I sat down at the 1/2 no-limit table the max buy-in was $100. Do I really need that much money to play at this limit because I did just fine with only $100
  6. I tend to invest too much when i flop top pair
  7. My apologies...I misread the post and didn't realize the specified situation. But what if you were heads up against the guy who went all in...would a call be the right play in that situation?
  8. I would think folding in this situation is rediculous at best. Basically you're saying to yourself "OK, I know i'm winning...in fact, i'm a big favorite against any hand...I'll fold." If you're not going to call with that hand then why play poker at all? Playing to place in a tourney is OK, I do it on a regular basis. I worry about winning the thing after i've already placed(this is only when i'm short on cash of course). The point of poker, at least for me, is to get your chips in when you have it. So if you have the best hand why not call? I know there's a chance that you'll get outdrawn and
