  1. mine would be "chris plays in the biggest PLAY MONEY games online, and sometimes will play in the 0.10/0.20 No Limit games when he has $25 dollars to deposit on pokerstars.com"
  2. Last night, I played $100 No-limit hold’em at a local casino (blinds are $2/$3). About an hour into the game, I had roughly $120 in front of me. I look at KdKc in the big blind. There were 4 limpers, and when the action came back to me, I raised an additional $15. I got one caller in late position (who had about $150) and the flop came down 7h, 8h, 3s. I bet $25, and he raised me all-in. I thought for almost a minute, and reluctantly called. He turned over 77 for a set, and I was sent home. Was this an obvious fold?? I feel like I played badly...
  3. Farha knows how to play the game. He's playing the players, my friends. And watching the High Stakes Poker episodes doesn't really do much, because I'm sure that they tend to show the more exciting/dramatic hands. Good for TV.
  4. which reminds me of a funny story. there was this Vietnamese guy who sat across the table from me. the guy next to him had just ordered a meal. Anyways, the Vietnamese guy kept farting. I mean REALLY farting. It was the funniest thing I've seen. The Vietnamese guy hardly spoke english, and the guy who was eating kept saying "WHAT THE F MAN! I'm trying to eat here." But the Vietnamese guy was relentless and kept farting every other minute or so. I was laughing so hard (as was the rest of the table). I'm not sure if the Vietnamese guy didnt understand us or if he just didn't care. He would just
  5. I wish that I would never have to sit next to some guy with B.O. at the poker table again....
  6. well, to me it seems like a popularity contest rather than who is the best (when they chose Annie). I'm sure that she is a great player, but since the producers wanted to show that they were not discriminating between sex, they had to choose a woman, and Annie is more appealing to the general public than Jennifer Harmon is.But let's be honest, I don't think that there is hardly a comparison between JH and AD. It's obvious that JH is a more accomplished player. She plays in the big cash game (what more do you want?). It's like taking Barry Greenstein, who plays in the 'big game', and comparing
  7. if a guy has a flush, and another guy has a straight, then the guy with the flush wins.If there are girls involved then it gets a bit more complicated. One time I had pocket aces, and then I lost the hand. wtf?
  8. what about Scarlett Johansson. she does it for me. rawwwrnatalie portman too
  9. lol...well it was JUUUUUST in case you guys didnt know what it meantbtw, a flush beats a straight thanx for the responses guys. from what i saw, the villain was pretty conservative. and you're right, this is the ideal flop i would want with pocket 10's. i was wondering if he would be pushing with a set so he could knock out my buddy if he though my buddy could have been on a straight draw.
  10. Ok. They both had about the same (about 100 bucks) and my buddy was the first to act (under the gun)
  11. Over the weekend, I sat down at a $100 No Limit cash game at the Venetian with my buddy Eugene (our hero). Two hours into the game, he looks down at pocket 10’s and makes it 6 dollars to go (the blinds are $1 and $2). He gets one caller (the villain) and the flop comes down 3 rags, something along the lines of 5, 7, 3, rainbow (rainbow means all different suits). Eugene bets 25 dollars, and the villain raises him another 60 dollars. Eugene reluctantly throws away his hand and the villain takes down the pot.I was just wondering if you guys thought this hand was played correctly. Any insights wo
