  1. Hopefully these show up. I put together these ideas let me know what you think.hmmm i dont know why they aren't showing up in the post, it's just a link.
  2. Uhmm correct me if I am wrong but you had 78910Jto his 5-6-7-8-J-A He had ace high and you had a straight...am I missing something here?
  3. Just making sure you guys were paying attention. I seem like my posts get unnoticed here. I guess anywhere you go you got nit pickers :)hah, thats what I get for not sleeping for 30 hours :?
  4. Congrats! Hopefully the same luck shines upon you in the 250k.Thats rough dutch. How many hours did you spend total to get the $17? It must have been around 20 hours. 20/17 = $1.18 per hour. Not too shabby
  5. Sounds like a lot of fun. I am an advertising major at school and have taken plenty of graphic design classes. Maybe they will finally come in handy . BTW what format do you want the pictures to be sent in? Jpeg, PSD, AI, etc.? Thanks and I'll see what I can whip up.
  6. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5548674164&rd=1You can be the lucky person that Pays $10k for this woman's husband to play in the WSOP. How lucky could you be!
  7. Agree 100% with Smash. Your mediocre hands are a must and your semi-decent hands are powerful. You can't sit and wait for big slick, pocket pairs and the likes. You get to good cards, you must raise preflop. Put other people to the test. The odds are they will not have a monster to play with since it is short handed. You can put people on better hands with a bigger table. But when it's heads up you can bet any ace is good, so raise with them. All of your level 1 and level 2 and some level 3 hands (According to Skalansky) are a must play in short handed hold'em. You just have to practi
  8. Maybe Moneymaker is working on his limit game and figures to start out on a low limit table? Just a thought. I think it would dawn on me if I lost a few hundred thousand that maybe I'm not so great at this game afterall and would think twice about playing anymore. No matter what you guys say about Moneymaker (he sucks, he's lucky, etc. etc.) he has a WSOP championship bracelet and I think he is the only one that can say he has one (besides Daniel of course). So before you say this guy sucks and is lucky think about this. Don't we all get lucky sometimes when we play? Do you ever remember t
  9. Welcome back Daniel, I look forward to your journal entry. This may sound crazy but I look forward to reading your posts. No matter how down I am about my poker game (i.e. I took a bad beat or I just made a very bad misread) you always seem to make me laugh with your witty humor. I really appreciate the time you put in here and I am sure everyone else does too. Also, since I am a newcomer, I just wanted to say congratulations on Player of the Year. I remember the clip from the WSOP this year where they were talking to you about Player of the Year and you said something along the lines of
  10. I never really used a card protector. I usually just throw a chip on them if I am in 1st or 10th position (next to the dealer) to prevent my cards being mucked. Just like MSR, I am waiting for the day to say "thats my card protector". Hmmm... Maybe 2 aces of spades from the same type of deck that the casino uses...
  11. I agree with most everyone here. Of course none of us were in your position and we didn't have the reads that you did. But looking at the stats, with 15 outs on the river, getting about 2:1 on your money (If I did the math right), thats 15 outs out of 26 cards (If it was a 10 person table) giving you well over your pot odds to call. I would have made the call as well. Please correct me if I am wrong with the math on the pot odds, I'm trying to brush up on it. Thanks
  12. I love the young guns. Why not David Williams or Scott Fishmann?
