Phil Ivey Crushing Ms. Pacman--I had a few email conversations with Barry Greenstein a while back, and I'm not sure how we got on the topic, but he told me that Phil Ivey can turn this game over without losing a life, which is ridiculous. I've never topped 400,000.

I would say that even though you may not have had a very good read on your opponents, they apparently had you pegged correctly for weak tight. They both played this hand aggressively and moved you off of roughly the hand they figured you for by limping in and completing the sb, Q bad kicker. They knew as a weaktight player they could move you off a weak queen, so props to your opponents here.

What about the odds of being up against BOTH KK and AA, when you hold QQ?This is an actual hand I played live last week, and I was fortunately able to lay down the queens without too much damage when a K flopped.

Jay Stew is still the "show contributor" I believe, and I do remember Romey going off on his poker last year around wsop time.

I can understand why many people are annoyed or putoff by Romey, but to say that he brings "no substance to the table at all" is just wrong. He is one of the best interviewers in any media. Just listening to Dan Patrick bumble through an interview after 3 hours of Rome makes me flip the station.

Curious what % of this forum frequents the Jungle with Jim Rome, and am wondering when he will start giving poker some lip service. I have been a clone for 8 years, and have been racked several times, run once, and had huge call once (of course I taped that). Met him in person at a tour stop, and was very personable and cool, would be fun to have a beer with.
