  1. No read on players as I haven't been playing long enough on the table so play as standard. I bet out 2.50 , get a cllaer and then an all-in? Ak? Flush draw? Am i getting odds on this to call even if Mp3 caller decides to fold? Too passive on this?Heads up I probably make this call.Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.10/$0.259 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $18.70UTG+1: $18.70Hero: $25MP2: $36.20MP3: $13.60CO: $23.05Button: $10.35SB: $39.50BB: $32.05Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP1 with 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, CO calls, Button calls, 2 folds.Flop:
  2. I'll definitly keep this in mind as I could have been a little better off than the way this hand played out.As the hand played out. Lucky Dan 6 showed [Ac 9s] and lost with a pair of Queens
  3. I can see that move being made and fine with making that play but if villian calls my bigger raise on the flop and then calls my big turn bet or pushes he doesn't have much left anyways. Would this be a fold still if Villian only had 3-5 dollars remaining for me to call?
  4. Okay I'm not sure if this was a smart call on the turn here. No real read other than one hand he showed a bluff after he bet a flop. Would most players here check raise to Hero the pre-flop raiser? I wasn't sure if I was ahead or behind so I decided this hand to keep the pot small if I could. Then the turn came and he bet the minimum. I still don't know where I am so I raise a dollar and he pushes.VILLAN???Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.10/$0.257 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $13.60UTG+1: $24.25MP1: $44.80Hero: $25.80Button: $12.70SB: $26.30BB: $24.30Pre-flop: (7 player
  5. I here you there...For some apparant reason I get a wild hair up my a$$ and super donkey comes out of no where and I start playing like an idiot when I play online as opposed to live. I've switched over from limit to no-limit recently and I find myself donkeying off my first buy-in before I pull my head out of my a$$. It's so irritating. I know before I make my move that I shouldn't but I do it anyways. I should be winning way more than I should. OH well...I'm just bitter right now because my first session afterwork today I gave away my first buy-in.
  6. The only time I'm ever really friendly is if I have a hot chick next to me. THen I go into donkey mode and try to give her all my chips.
  7. I had a good friend of mine that I play poker with a lot mostly limit when we play live so we can get wasted and not really think about the cards. He was in BB and I was SB. We both had AQ and during this time I was getting that hand shoved up my pie hole. So I raised pre-flop and he calls along with another gentlemen and the flop comes an Ace with rainbow cards. I bet on the flop he re-rasises the othe guy folds. I re-raise and he decides to cap it on me. I sit there and stare at him calling him an a-hole. I show him my AQ before I muck it. He doesn't even tell me he has the same hand. He w
  8. Thanks for the info guys... I come from a very strong limit game so in limit this is usually a check raise for me.Now that I'm learning how to play NL there are a lot of habits from limt that I carry over to NL that I need to correct.I'm trying to get into the habit of leading out on the turn which I'm going to need to start paying attention to more. I guess the reason I don't is for fear that I may lose action if he does not have a nine. Possibly 10's or higher or 8's and lower.Thx for the feedbackI'll be posting more donkey A$ $ moves on my part until I get it right. So far I'm winning but n
  9. Did I make a mistake here by not just pushing all-in on the river against deep stack? I figure after the check raise on the turn this guy had a 9. For some reason I became a pansy and just bet the pot on the river? Betting the pot only left me with with like 7 8 bucks left I think so maybe I should have shoved. Shove here and expect a crying call by deep stack?Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.10/$0.258 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $22.30UTG+1: $35.60Hero: $24.65MP2: $24.40CO: $6Button: $58.55SB: $23BB: $24.30Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is MP1 with UTG folds, Hero calls,
  10. hhhmmm...how about that was a donk beat? That flop was so donk. The post I'm typing is is donkified
  11. I didn't have a read on the guy since I just sat down. I thought it would be better to just try and take it down there.
  12. With this flop do I keep this guy in going into the river? 14. I kind of thought i was wussy on that one. I'm still learning figuring out my nl game.
  15. Okay rail away on me on this one but is this a weak A $ $ fold pre-flop on my part. I have no read on re-rasier? Would you make the call if I was suited? If I did make the call do you lead out and fold to a raise?Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.10/$0.259 playersConverterPre-flop: (9 players) Hero is UTG+1 with UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.75, MP1 raises to $2, 4 folds, SB calls, BB folds, Hero folds.Flop: ($5, 2 players)SB checks, MP1 bets $2, SB folds.Uncalled bets: $2 returned to MP1.Results:Final pot: $5
  16. Actually...I don't mind the criticism and in many of my responses I agreed with there suggestions. I gave them my opinion on what I thought at that time. I believe looking at my responses I never said that I made the correct play. I'm only posting these to help improve my game. If I get railed for making an incorrect move that's fine. Just like they are entitled to give there opinion I am just giving mine as well.
  17. I think you are trying to twist my words here. I don't think this was a great laydown. I made it because I thought I was beat for some reason. My real question which everyone answered is that I should have bet more on the flop and possibly re-evaluated my situation on the turn with a lead out bet. I see that point being taken already.
  18. That sure is a beautiful picture of a badunkadunk.
  19. Well the way this hand turned out I actually had less outs than you think after the turn card came. I think my only error here was the weak *** bet on the flop. I really don't think it was the bad to check and make a decision to call here. If I'm ahead I'm getting a lead out bet with another caller with me being last to act and if I'm behind I'm calling without worry of re-raise. If i lead out the turn I'm for sure getting a re-raise if not an all-in with only one card left to make my hand.As it may the guy flopped a straight the other guy turned two pair which killed my outs.Seat 2: Tubegette
  20. I was actually a little nervous about the Ace since I didn't have a read on him. But he checked to me. If he had a flush draw or an Ace he probably would have bet out that flop. I actually checked raise to see where I was at.
  21. Like my previous post I didn't realize until the turn came an Ace that anyone with KJ could have made it on the flop. I do agree that my flop bet was a little weak but with a board like that I think a set is too vulnerable. If I did make a mistake it was my small bet on the turn. I think it's a bad idea to push this hand. Also even with an Ace for someone to continuation bet and another caller I still think I may be very stron or maybe way behind. I could have called the turn bet for implied odds. Also based on the pot and the 10 outs I was less than a 2 to 1. I would have implied odds on this
  22. I thought about re-raising since Villian has been raising big before the flop on different occassions. But for me I hate re-raising with a mediocore hand like JJ. I think the hand is too vulnerable.I think on the turn and the river I could have extracted more since he was the deep stack on the table. Since I really didn't have much information it was hard for me to figure out the strength of his hand. But I do agree I could have pushed bigger on the turn and all-in on the river.
  23. I've watched Villian play a few hands and when he raises it's always way above 3 times the bb. That is why I called this hand.I think one of my weakness is betting and extracting value from players. Although with this particular hand I wasn't sure what Villian could be on since he never reaches a showdown. I guess he just bullies people with his chips.Could I have made more here on the turn and river? River I was a little nervous of a straight being made.Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.10/$0.259 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $10.45Hero: $24.75MP1: $10.50MP2: $14.40MP3: $
