today i entered in the $10.00 quad shoot out on stars...it's a 6 handed table, where final 36 get double money back, final 6 (2 - 6 get money back; 6th = 100, 5th= 160, etc) and 1st gets 10k buy in 1k cash moneys, and 9 days paid in vegas.i cruised through my first two tables and elimated two of the other 5 players at my 3rd table within 15 hands.i got heads up, pushed with 5's, ran into jacks. layed down top pair to a big bet, and finally lost when he called my re,re-raise with king ten suited when i had ace king off..he hit two pair.anyways...to follow will be how i played this 3rd table wh

took 15th.was 5th with 24 to go.flop i hit top 2 pair and 2nd best low. It was heads up.bet he called, bet he called, he bet i called.he had the nut low, and hit runner runner flush. and wounded me pretty bad.hung on for as long as i could. got all my chips in with kk45 (suited flush draw of hearts)and two aces hit the board and a 4 so i had no low and my hopes were shot.i feel sick.thanks for the support from the person who showed up. i appreciate it.

Just finished a $10 omaha hi low fixed limit tourney on stars.took 3rd, 342.20, but very disappointed in my finish.i was chip leader going into the final table..and 4 hand i picked up k k 8 6 (no flush poss) and misclick fold as I was on the phone...anywhoo.it would've tripped on turn and boated on river, no low...would've eliminated a guy, made me huge leader, and also low stacked the guy who won.about 6 hands later (3 handed now) i pick up k k, with a flush poss..and raise preflop...bb calls..ace hits flop and well i overplayed my hand..now i'm shortstack.2 hands later, i get ace, king, 2, 3

good job dood. congrats.i would stop in and wish you luck in person as i have a paid trip to vegas april 21st to 26th, but i got another job and training starts the day i was suppose to leave.so i had to cancel the trip.take one down for FCP baby.and when you win a big hand with s.hit...like 2/7 in bb, flop = 227.throw it down and say "2/7 is a MONSTER" or "but it was sooooted"u also have to throw out the "IN YO FACe" - courtesy of dave chapelle. i've got a dell laptop.512 mb, 120 gigs, 2.8 ghz (actually i think it's better than that) and a 17 inch screen.i regularly 5 table no problem.....yes there is overlap, but unless you have two monitors i think with more than 3 tables there will be some sort of overlap.definately get a mouse, or you RMF (random misclick factor) will go through the roof with the laptop screen mouse thingy.

they're compressed i guess.it's supposed to go vertebrae, space, vertebrae, space, etc. well i have no space and the compression popped the nerve right out of my spinal cord so now i have two nerve endings touching each other liek a short circuit. I'll just be standing leaning up against somethign and drop to the floor. it's funny at first, but when it happens at the bar or gym it's embarrassing haha.and yeah i'm scheduled with a radiologist to get a CT scan on my back and i do need surgery.who says internet poker isn't a contact sport?or maybe it was from jumping up and throwing my laptop

worst call ever.if u wanted to build up a stack early or bust out, why not play blind and just push all in every 3rd hand or something. The way you played that you knew you were beat going in 3 other callers..give your head a shake. I suggest bingo.

mah bad.if it hits on the turn i still say First to act, bet into him..if he raises, bail.if it's checked to you check the river and maybe call him out..don't give him the toption of a raise.

First to act. You put in a bet. If they fold your happy, if they call and it gets completed, you still bet into them..if they reraise it's an easy decision.The only trouble here is if you bet, they call, and then a nothign card hits..you bet and they re raise..what do u do there? i say call down to the river.checked to you..u bet out. they still haven't made their draw and u play it the same way as above..if it hits and they bet u can either fold...or raise to see where you are at. You just got to remember to be able to fold when it hits and your beat...it's hard to fold the set when a str

i began playing online poker last summer....about 8 - 10 hrs a day..sometimes 18 hr sessions, back to back to back days (hey, i live way up north british columbia, 8 hrs south of alaska..i gots notihgn else to do)well for the last 3-4 months my back has been hurting like a beotch, so finally i can't bend down to put on socks so i go to a chiropractor......i've got 2 crushed vertibrae (2nd, 3rd lumbar, my right hip is popped up, my left shoulder raised, and my neck is tweeked)i work out 4 days a week, none of these injuries came from that, and haven't played sports as golf is my fortay.so bewar

whatever man. he knew what he was getting into.i'm just saying i bet he's experienced things he thought never existed in there and he's just lucky he's not in their longer b/c he copped out on friends and ratted them out to get 5 of the 6 charges dropped.i wish the guy the best in his recovery, but he didn't get what he deserved..he should've got more.
