  1. Pope tied to another abuse case of Arizona priest that Vatican waited years to defrockHe was alerted 12 years before Tucson priest was finally defrockedBy Matt Sedensky Associated PressUpdated: 04/02/2010 11:28:18 PM CDTThe future Pope Benedict XVI took over the abuse case of an Arizona priest, then let it languish at the Vatican for years despite repeated pleas from the bishop for the man to be removed from the priesthood, according to church correspondence. Documents reviewed by the Associated Press show that in the 1990s, a church tribunal found that the Rev. Michael Teta of Tucson, Ariz.,

  4. The labor department recently tried to get some firm numbers as to how many people they actually hired, but the Census bureau was at loss. He said, "I mean, it's alot of people and constantly moving number so it's really tough to be accurate."
  5. Because the study was based on numerous tax increases and estimates of the income that would bring. The problem is the tax increases will never get voted in. The CBO can only regurgitate the stats they are given. They are not there to make assumptions. Junk in, junk out.
  6. I'll clarify but first I think college is basketball is more entertaining than pros and college football is entertaining as well, though I like pro football better. This is why I would quit. In essence I sacrifice alot of time and money on the Bengals and love watching but, it's gotten to be a circus all too often. If they don't think it's important to play, it's not important for me to watch. There's alot of other activities I can get involved in that don't involve spoiled people.
  7. It is far from socialized medicine and unlike the Obama plan, it isn't government run. I think it is a good model though there would be issues to consider since they only have 7.5 millon people
  8. The Cinti Reds are the first major league baseball team and this is the 134th opening day. It's big in Cinti and having a ticket is an excuse to not attend school as a kid. They have a huge parade downtown before the game and alot of businesses are closed or operating thin since everyone watches the game. Up until a few years ago it was always the first official game to kick off the major league season. ESPN whined wanting to make some money by televising some Sunday games and MLB acquiesed. Again, so much for tradition when there is a buck to be made. Baseball used to all about tradition
  9. Alice seems like the sterotypical person that won't accept change. It goes to question whether she is upset by having more work and could care less about the kids or if her gripes are sincere. The radio guy is doing more for the whole show than hurting it by whining, though that might be his intent though it doesn't seem like it. He seems like a typical idiot. The bread thing was hilarious as well. Apaprently the FDA says that pizza has 3 breads and separates the crust. WTF is writing this book and whydo they have a goddam job? It is the epitome of government intervention gone wrong.Obesi
  10. Okay, let's back up. These people are allegedly protesting gays in the military and saying that God was killing our soldiers because of it. How can anyone in their right mind make this leap of intelligent reason? They purposely chose this funeral with reckless disregard for the mental well-being of the father. This wasn't a public venue such as a court or abortion clinic, it was a funeral whose sole purpose of pageantry is to allow the family and friends to grieve. With willful disregard to this the protesters planned and carried out their publicity campaign. They were obviously complia
  11. I heard it was caused by all those soldiers weight that flipped Guam over.
  12. that is friggin' awesome strat. I pray I find the opportunity to use this in the future. Ithink it should be part of the disclaimer for drug companies advertisements. Znharstol-Can be known to cause to diareaha, constipation, incontinence, headaches, insanity. Odds on death are 30-1 for men, 20-1 women, and 6 to 5 on babies.Wang, oh wang. I am going to try my best to root for win for you tonight since the elation of Butler winning would be fleeting, but the pain of your dissapointment would last a lifetime. Okay, well at least a few weeks, let alone the promise of awesome stories in the
  13. So if God spoke to me and told me to follow your mother around screaming at her that God hates whores you'd be okay with that? I wouldn't be putting anyone in physical danger? And you know, it is God speaking to me, wouldn't want anyone to think "narrowly".This of course is ridiculous, but you get the point. The line has to be drawn somewhere for what religous fanatics can get away with.

  15. I'm digging this show. Anyone else? I'm always interested in people taking a stand a trying to change an entire culture. It will interesting to see how successful he is. For those that haven't seen or heard of it he is in Huntington WV because they were voted as the most obese city in the US. He is working with the school system to change the food they serve and also enlighten the city to proper eating. Many of the locals are not to happy about it.
  16. The problem is that a man was trying to bury his son and is in a terrible state of mind, grieving in what most people would consider the worst possible hand life can deal to you and you have these idiots with no remorse or feeling with every intention in the world to make that time even more unbearable for you. Anyone with any spec of decency agrees with this. If it had been my son I would have drove my car through the lot of them without a second thought. Bottom line is they shouldn't be allowed to do it at a funeral. Britain maybe went to far prosecuting under terrorist laws but the musl

  18. I agree, but in all fairness I could do it in October to Gary and he wouldn't get it.
  19. Our lot tech, Gary, is a in his mid thirties going on 12. He's a decent guy but has no sense or ambition and drinks pretty heavily if he's got any cash in his pocket. Every month I pay his cable and electric on my credit card and take it out of his paycheck. If you gave him the cash he would be sitting in the dark drinking beer I'm afraid. Anyway, every year (4th in a row) I wait until late afternoon and tell him he has to go to Columbus, 2 hours away to pick up a check and drop off a title. He freaks every time. He automatically starts babbling every excuse in the world about having pla

Seems Britain has their own thoughts on this.http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england...rts/8452616.stmFive Muslim men who protested at a home-coming parade in Luton where soldiers were called murderers have been found guilty of making threats. The charges related to a march through the town in March 2009, a judge at Luton Magistrates' Court heard. The five men, all from Luton, were convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words and behaviour likely to cause harassment and distress. Two of the protesters have been cleared of all charges.Jalal Ahmed, 21, Yousaf Bashir, 29, Ziaur Rahm
  23. The award was obviously meant as a punishment against this group that has been acting up for years. Instead of anyone learning anything it has become about making people pay.
  24. So you are saying, or your interpretation of the bible is saying that pridefullness is bad. My son gets his first little league hit and I'm supposed to run to confession? The bible leaves everything open to interpretation I suppose. So are these people then justified in protesting since the army is allowing people in that stick their penis up other peoples rectums? Is the father just being prideful at his son's funeral? it seems to me that you can spin this anyway you like using the bible.Isn't it pretty obvious that the bible as a guide to behaviour is sorely lacking in clarity and tends
