    ipod nano

I recently bought a nano, but I didn't have anything similar before that. I like the nano just because it is extremely light and I like to use it when I work out. And 1,000 songs is enough for me. When do you need more than that? You can have more in your library and swap them in and out of the ipod if you have to. The only reason to buy the nano is for the size, so if you have a mini and like it, no need for the nano.
  2. I'm replying to this not because I think I have the answer, but I'm curious to hear of any leaks in my game. I don't really play online, just B&M, so I'm trying to learn the differences in the games. What could he have that you have beat? A Ko is about it, isn't it? Maybe A Jo. Are you going to play TPTK without a diamond for all your chips? He called your PF raise and raised your pot-sized bet. Feels strong to me. Unless he sees your bet as a standard continuation bet with nothing and is bluffing. I think Aces or Kings, maybe Jacks, and scared of the flush is a strong possibilit
  3. It seems like you have a fairly limited perception of what he will do. Maybe that's because you have a good read on him, but if I check the turn that may embolden him to bet the turn with his underpair. When you call his turn bet, he could easily put you on a flush draw and then he'll fire out again if the flush doesn't hit. Since you said you would fold to a river bet, you would be folding the best hand. Also, although small, he still could make his set and you're calling down with the worst hand. And if he does have that weak Ace you're calling down with the worst hand.Could he have A-8
  4. I'm UTG with a tiny stack and I announce that I'm all-in in the dark and put my chips out during the deal. I sit back, arms folded, and never touch my cards. I even say I'm not going to look. Two callers, it goes check-check on the flop, bet-call on the turn, bet-fold on the river. There are 3 clubs on the board. Player turns over two pair, I say, "I hope I've got a couple of clubs in here." I flip one over, Q , flip the next, A ! I had the nut flush and took my little pot. The table was laughing about it, but Two Pair wasn't. He didn't say anything, but was what I did improper? (C
  5. Thanks for the insight. Being new to tournament play I wasn't sure what the etiquette was to finding out other players' stacks. As it turned out I lost to the BB's King high and finished my first tournament on the bubble. But it made for a good story to tell my friends...
  6. Hey guys, I'm new to this site, but I love this tournament strategy section. Last summer I tried my luck in my first tournament; it was a $20 buy-in (NLHE) with rebuys, about 180 players. I knew the basics of poker play, but nothing of tournament strategy. However, it got down to about 20 players left with the top 18 paying and I had a stack of less than average when I picked up Aces. It got all-in pre-flop and they were cracked and I was down to a very small stack. So, here's the situation: I'm in the small blind and after posting have only $2,000 left. (I forget what the blinds were, b
  7. I enjoy reading the various debates in these forums, but this is the only one that compelled me to register (although the DN MS Paint contest was close). The question is "would you cheat?" Does it really matter what situation is presented to determine your answer? It's still cheating and the answer should be no. We'd all be better off if our actions were determined by what is right and wrong and not who we're hurting or what the consequences are to ourselves. I'm not saying there is no room for debate on what is right or wrong, but I'm surprised that there is debate on whether cheating is r
