Heres how the hand went down. Sorry for no converter. I'm Learn2Swim and have Q6 in the SB. Project wong had been playing a little loose but I don't know much becides that.Texas Hold'em $1-$1 NL (Real Money) Seat 1: extra_medium ($23 in chips) Seat 2: Hummmm ($114.40 in chips) Seat 3: projectwong5 ($117.40 in chips) Seat 4: JSTOTH ($102.80 in chips) Seat 5: Image 00 ($209.25 in chips) Seat 6: dazza766 ($109.50 in chips) Seat 7: Learn2Swim ($70 in chips) Seat 8: IDenyMojo ($100.60 in chips) Seat 9: Jayseki ($100 in chips) Seat 10: BigUnit999 ($100.60 in chips) ANTES/BLINDSLearn2Swim posts blind ($0.50), IDenyMojo posts blind ($1).PRE-FLOPJayseki folds, BigUnit999 folds, extra_medium folds, Hummmm folds, projectwong5 calls $1, JSTOTH folds, Image 00 folds, dazza766 calls $1, Learn2Swim calls $0.50, IDenyMojo checks.FLOP [board cards 8C,QC,5H ]Learn2Swim bets $2.50, IDenyMojo folds, projectwong5 calls $2.50, dazza766 folds.Flop top pair but no kicker. I lead out and get called. From what I saw I was sure if he had a bigger queen he would have raised. I thought the most likely hand was a flush draw.TURN [board cards 8C,QC,5H,JS ]Learn2Swim checks, projectwong5 bets $9, Learn2Swim bets $30, projectwong5 calls $21.I check knowing theres a good chance he'll bluff at it. His pot sized bet looked like a steal to me as I think if he had a queen he would have made more of a value bet so I repop it. He calls.RIVER [board cards 8C,QC,5H,JS,10S ]Learn2Swim bets $36.50 and is all-in.River brings four to the straight but no flush. I don't want to give him a chance to move me off my hand so I push keeping my read that he was on the flush. Only hand I was really worried on the river was maybe A9 of clubs. They way he played it makes me rule out a stronger queen because I think he would have raised me on the flop or reraised me on turn. I think a set would move in on me at the turn too. Only hand I can logically think of is a busted flush. What do you think he has and do you think my line of reasoning is flawed. I was ready to pitch on the turn because of the kicker trouble but something was telling me he was weak.

you have a hand with showdown value, why are you pushing the river? because you are afraid to get pushed off your hand? that makes no sense to me. When you push you get called by the straight or a better Q or 2 pair and the busted flush draw you think he has folds. If you check the river, all the hands that beat you probably still bet and you lose the same amount as if you pushed, but the busted flush draw gets a chance to bluff, representing Q9 or A9 clubs or something, in which case you can actually win the amount of that bet.

i dont get the raise to 30 on the turn. I would just flat call there. But when you did this. And he called the extra 21, that would make me very worried. He wouldnt reraise with a bigger Queen. This is a limped pot so who knows he may put you on two pair or a set or any range of hands. after he calls the 21, i check call or maybe even check fold the river, depending on the bet and previous reads on the player.
