Jordan 1
Normally this a nut hand in my experience when it's a very small bet to 3bet to a "call me" amount. That being said, his line to be holding the Kd is fishy, unless it's exactly Kd Jd. That being said..I don't mind your river raise, and I'd feel very priced to make the call...but I don't think you're good a ton here, given no reads of villain being a donk.- Jordan
ahosang 0
I'm not a holdem specialist(PLO, PLO8 etc), but I think you should just call the river. Am I too passive on the river??
hawk111771 0
Definitely a tough one. You should be dead here 9 times out of 10. I probably would not have raised the river.
Money022 0
I don't see a lot of value in raising on the river. What exactly do you expect to get called by that you beat? You're never good after being raised here. I think the river was FUBAR.
fckthis 0
i call this river 100% of the time. not worth raising, because you're not really getting value outta anything you beat. I prob fold as played, but at 50NL you gotta account for the every now and then retardo bluff.

He lead for $3 on the river which is one of two things. He either thinks he can't possibly be called if he bets big so he's making a super thin value bet, or he's trying to act weak and hopes to induce a raise. Either way he thinks he's getting value from a weaker hand. I think the villian is tickled pink here when HERO raises him and this is an insta-muck.
NoBBiR 0
Raising the river is pretty silly, imo.

The only and I mean only hand we can hope for is AxJd. Everything else is beating us or folding. Looking again, nothing else makes sense, unless it's KdJd, or A2, etc. And if you found a villain who calls a raise OOP with KdJd or A2, make him a friend and profit from the relationship. AbsolutKnuts 0
Yeah i wasnt entire happy about the way i played this hand, looking back on it i should have trusted my read and folded on the flop (i put him on a weak A) and was reluctant to call. Then picking up a strong FD on the turn and a free card which completed the flush, giving a flush vs a set. Anyway it turns out my read was correct, but he rivered a full house, A's full of 2's. Raising him when he leads is silly because he's almost never calling the river with ANYTHING that you beat. Unless he's a tilt donkey and he might call you with trips, raising is -EV.Also if you do raise the river, and he comes over the top, instamuck. He never, ever, ever has a worse hand.
