allinbluff35 0
Okay with all the talk about Notre Dame firing their head coach Ty Willingham after an unsuccessful season. The question has been brought up now that if in fact his firing was race(he is african-american) related. So I would like to here your thoughts about it. If you dont know much about the situation just watch sportscenter u will get the gist of it.
Wilderness 0
I don't think it was race related but I do think he should have been given more time. They had some bad losses this year, definitely, but they also had some quality wins that showed they had some potential.
tekn0wledg 0
I voted no.I'm tired of people, the media particularly, trying to justify every action in the universe with some alterior motive.Today Daniel Negreanu went all-in against Phil Ivey! Was this move a racist move attempting to eliminate Phil from the tournament?Last week the earth spun around on it's axis seven times. Could this be sexist? Why can't the axis rotate around it, HUH? Why?Lol. Getting tired of the NAACP firing lawsuits at every non-minority who has to fire a minority for one reason or another. When a white manager fires a white person nobody tries to find some retarded alterior motive, we say oh well and move on.Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I know for a fact this isn't race related, I'm just saying until I have factual evidence that proves otherwise, I'll assume it's another media hyped thing just so they have something else to report on.In addition, I don't want anyone to think I'm racist, or sexist or anything like that. It couldn't be the furthest thing from the truth. However, I think people should stop looking for excuses for actions based on some other event other than the behavior of the two people involved. Ok so your boss fired you because he was stressed from a divorce with his wife, so what, don't sue the wife because you are angry.... deal with it! The rest of us do! DCWildcat 0
It was a stupid, stupid, stupid move. Maybe one or two of the votes were race-related. But by and large I think it was a result of Cornhusker Syndrome--the inability to accept a loss of prestige. Let's face it, no one gives a rip about notre dame now, and they likely won't for a long time
Dirtydutch 8
Yup.Race related. They hired him, just so they could fire a black man. Damn honkys.
