isn't there only spades on the flop? I wouldnt say it would be that hard to get paid on a flush if it comes runner runner
Yeah flop only had one spade, but I THINK it checked around. So a river flush wouldn't be out of the question. I think you would get paid for sure, but stacking someone might be hard. Although pot is probably 50bbs on the river now. So I dunno.Mark

Nutz,Is this the 5-150 SLHE game @ Casino AZ? Also, buy some Mark-run-good-juice and profit.Sorry about the cards spitting on your correct decision making. So a no-go for you on the CAZ/Phoenix meet up?
Yeah, thats the game all right, lol. Nothing I can do but bend over...and it's poker, I know, but this has been going on for an extraordinarily long time now to the tune of several thousand. It borders on eerie or supernatural (lol that's how spooked I am at the moment). I mean, here is another example....I shoved Kh-Jh in position on a Qh-10h-Jc flop into what I thought for sure was A-Q. I brick out and sure enough he has A-Q. So many outs...so sick!I honestly have played very well the last couple times out. Playing great position poker, making good lay downs when whiffing flops, value betting when appropriate, not being too fancy, stealing when I know I can, making GREAT reads, etc., losing little if anything during the times between the big hands......and then ALWAYS losing the big pots via ridiculous suckouts! It's literally like kicking kicked in nads, I almost instinctively know I am going to lose those big hands but I have to play them correctly every time. I can't deviate from what is right, even though my spidey senses are laughing in anticipation of the doom to come. It is just awful. Poker is not supposed to be this miserable, is it? I still plan on meeting everyone, but I have to be honest. I do not like poker right now. It is just not fun anymore. BUT.....that said, yes I still want to meet everyone and hang for a bit. Lord knows I am an ATM at the moment! Come and get it! B)

I guess you can finally empathize with the unfortunate person in your avatar :(I hope you get the opportunity to "be the bull" and let your opponents take it "in the nads"/"up the ass" soon enough.

LOL! jeet and i were just talking the other day about how whenever there's an all-in preflop it's always AK vs. AK because QQ, KK, and AA always smooth call pre at some point.the trick is to be the one that is suited.

Totally. Go to gucci.com, it has the same feel! Unintentional comedy off the scale on her site. I love it. I love that there is a link for her pictures that is titled: Look at Me. hahahahahaMark

You have reads on him? all in with AK preflop for over 100 buy ins to 5 bet isn't the best idea without reads. I'm assuming you did have them, so nh.

If I wasn't willing to get it all in, I would have just flat called pf there vs him. He was pretty aggro and raised my blinds a lot. I'd bluff 3bet him 3 times before in probably the last 20 mins at the table, and he'd folded each time. So I thought he would be at a point he was ready to shove it in with something I beat like AQ or AJ. When the cards flipped up and he had AK I actually said something like 'god!' outloud cause I couldn't believe I didn't have him crushed. But then 1 second later I did hahahahaha :)I agree though, I would not normally snap call off all my chips with AK. At best you're racing there usually. Mark

Allin for $40,000??? (I knew what you meant, I just LOL'd when I thought about a 100 buyin allin pre-flop, so I had to point it out)

Wouldve been better if you hit your straight and got to showdown, and then they see that you min-3bet 7-8 from OOP.
