Ive been in the situation lately in low limit turbos (1-2 tables) and low limit mtt's (1-2-3-5 tables) where this scenario occurs:slightly short handed table, varying stacks, Hero is in SB w/ Ax.BB has been pushing all in basically every big blind when limped to. What range should I have to call his all in here? Should I try to trap w/ Ax so he will push?Calling villains all in would take a considerable amount of chips from my stack.Does your answer change from turbo's to normal sngs?

When the blinds get big, especially in turbos, I raise almost any ace from the SB (when it is folded around). It puts good pressure on the BB (who will often fold) and the early show of strength somewhat compensates for your lack of position should the hand continue. If he pushes in on you, its a question of reads, ranges, and pot odds. For loose and shortstacked opponents I usually look them up with A8s or better, or A9o or better.

If your in the small blind with 10x the bb or less you should be shoving any ace in a turbo, regular sitngo, or tournament. In fact most anything for that matter. If he keeps giving you this line where when you limp in he shoves then try trapping with something you wouldnt mind getting it in with. His play is one that i actually use a fair amount in tournaments and when i was playing sit n gos (when i had around 10xbb). To determine what you calling hands could be after you limp and he pushes, you have to use SHAL. Determine his range, adjust for payout +/- EV, bla blabla. Just buy sit n go power tools, this will help.

.. he's reading the table as weak everytime poeple are limping in.. if you know he's going to raise all in everytime he's in the BB apparently no one is paying much attention. as soon as you caught on to this pattern... if i was you and coming into the pot.. I would raise with a border line hand or if u have AA KK QQ or AK I would limp with it knowing what he'll do... not much to think about.. i wouldn;t worry too much about him... Don;t let another player cause u to play badleyWhat you'll do and what i'll do will be differnt.... when calling All-in raises...with a extremely loose player with this kind of patern.. I bet this isn't the only sitNGO he's playing.8 X (where X is higher than an eight) suited or better... for me and any pair 77-AA

if i understand the scenario correctly, i would most likely shove w/ Ax. i hate to call off when i'm a just a 56% favorite. folding here isn't always terrible too. (depending on the situation). SNGs are all math and situation awareness so there is never one true correct answer but i think shoving is going to be more correct than any other answer. i think the only hands we limp are AA,KK, and QQ. and only these against idiot opponents.turbos to regulars wouldn't matter i don't think.

I aggree.. and very fustrating at times... Internet playing you're forced to rely on variences and just the cards..I like reading poeple which is 70% of the game... i do understand many poeple aren't close to a Casino. :(I'm thinking on picking up "stacked " for my PSP because We have to play to keep sharp and AI is supposed to be good.
