qyayqi 11 Posted November 11, 2006 Share Posted November 11, 2006 i'm unofficial network maintenance, a backdoor landline to an open wireless network. if your computers are robust, you could remote desktop back to your home computer & play like that. it depends what kind of lockdown they have on ports in/out of your work network.and you'd want to be careful with the remote desktopping. if everyone on your LAN is secure (ie trustworthy) then no big deal. but the password protection on them is weak, a LAN sniffer could snag & break it in short order. so if you are paranoid, you need to drill a SSH tunnel from work to home and run the remote desktop through that, very secure packets.
