13CARDS 0 Posted October 16, 2006 Share Posted October 16, 2006 I wonder if the Brantford casino knows this...considering i played a sattelite last night, and they informed me sattelite's will be running 24/7 until the day of the tournament.There are still CPO vouchers to be won through the satellites...there are no more available to be purchased.The cap of 300 players is a logistitcal limitation. As there are only 30 tables, and two WPT events run back to back, and a higher priority on seating more players in the NAPC (ie: running two Day 1's), the CPO, this year, will be limited to 300 players. In coming years, this restriciton may not apply as the events will not be running consecutively. Link to post Share on other sites
pirana 0 Posted October 17, 2006 Share Posted October 17, 2006 While playing cash games at Niagara Falls, I found out that there were only a few seats of the WPT $2700 event available for sale, so I bought one of the last seats. The casino imposed a surcharge just for using a credit card (as if everybody carries $2700 to $10,000 cash in their wallet ). My extremely diligent credit card company phoned my home number shortly after to verify the unusual transaction, and my spouse answered. I am not sure if I will be allowed out of the doghouse in time to play in the WPT tournament on Sunday.... I'm so pissed though, I booked my flight for the 20th hoping I could play the $2500 event, turns out its already reached its cap Link to post Share on other sites

epoker 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Share Posted October 18, 2006 I understand that an entry to the $2700 WPT can be transfered to someone else in case they can't make it or whatnot, I was unfortunately too late to register for the tourney and wasn't aware of the limited number of seats available, however if anyone wants to sell their ticket I will buy it from them at a premium price $$. It is an official stop on the Tour and the winner of the NAPC does go on to Belagio (as long as you are over 21!).
