rwood 0
hey guys, usually i post in limit strat, as that is my main game, but lately i've felt like i want to start playing tourneys consistently, so i was interested in starting a separate tourney bankroll. i am very noobish to tourneys, i occaisonally play them but am not profficient by means. i just ordered HOH2. soooooooooooooooo to the pointim interested in playing 10-20 dollar buy ins to start off with, how many buy ins would you guys recommend? what is the general rule for you tourney players?i plan on spreading my money over FT, Stars and Party. recommendations for bankroll and undertaking tourneys are welcome and hoped for. thanks.EDIT: background on my history if it matters, i play 5/10 LHE online for my income (im in college, my liquid roll is always between 300-500bbs). im a long term winner in O H/L and NLHE also (similar limits). i have made it deep into a few tourneys that i have played(a couple LHE's mostly NLHE) 3rd is the best i've placed. so theres my background. if

He stated that you should have about 30 buy-ins in your bankroll. I pretty much took that to heart, and it seemed to work for me.I am definatly tournaments only, myself. I seem to get absolutely murdered in cash games.
