TheCinciKid 0
I'm 24 and trying to figure out what I should do with my life. I had the idea today that I could see what FCP thinks, so here goes. Qualifications:I have a BS in Political Science and I spent a year and a half in Law School before taking a leave of absence last semester. I've held many jobs in the last 8 years, including fast food, movie theater, phone center and my current job of hotel desk clerk. I have experience in the financial industry from my time when I worked on the phones for Fidelity Investments 401(k) service center. I have leadership and political experience from my time in Student Government in college including my last year as an officer when I held several leadership posts. I actually don't really care that much about politics anymore though. My main interests right now are basically poker, fantasy baseball (and baseball in general), playing and watching sports, movies, reading and just a little bit of politics. Eventually I'd like to find a career that I will enjoy for the rest of my life. A job that will having me wanting to get out of bed in the morning. I live in Greater Cincinnati right now, but I think I'd like to move at some point, unless I find something here that just knocks me over. I'm not opposed to having to go back to school at some point if it's for the right thing. What do y'all think?...thoughts, suggestions are welcome.

runthemover 39
finish your law degree... and look into doing an internship with a sports agent office and voila...agree totally. you're halfway through law school and only one semester removed from it. longer you stay away less likely you'll finish. money you spend on school now will make more for you in long run. TheCinciKid 0
finish your law degree... and look into doing an internship with a sports agent office and voila...Meh, I've thought a little bit off and on about going back, but there's a reason I quit in the first place. I just wasn't finding the classes interesting and I didn't have to drive to put in the necessary effort on stuff I didn't care about. I only took finals for the first two semesters, so I'd have two full years left. I have 'til Fall '07 to make a decision on going back. Right now it's looking like I probably won't, but if I can't come up with anything better I may have to just so I have more career options.

Suited_Up 2
I just turned 23 and got a job that's gonna move me into a new state. So put me on the list of recent major life changes.Hopefully it's well worth it. Good day for me as well... First Brigette gets a job offer from a company she worked for while going to school (UBS)... they actually created a position for her, cause she wasn't quite qualified for the one she interviewed for. So they made a new one, NIIICE!!Then about 20 minutes later, I go in to fill out an application at SushiSamba, a pretty popular restaurant downtown, and get hired on the spot after talking to the manager for like 5 minutes. Training is gonna be a bitch, but if I can deal with that... I think the money will be pretty nice.Good day! Granted it's not a career for me, but it's better than being broke and unemployed like i've been for about 2 months.
