I 3-bet the turn for free showdown. You think just calling the c/r is better? I was also wondering about the river call, what is he c/r that turn with that I beat?
No need to 3-bet for a free sd here. You have position, and he will likely bet at you again. You can pop him on the river when you hit your flush, and you don't have to worry about putting in more than 3BB when you're behind. Also, there is the outside chance he's bluffing after he raises the turn the first time. In this case, you want to give him the chance to bluff again.Once you make it to the river, I think you have to cut your losses and fold.

yea I agree that I should have. But since I did 3-bet there, once he caps, i feel its pretty obvious that im beat, he wouldn't do this with KJ. So im curious if I should have folded that river, I guess its unimportant since I should have just called the c/r on turn anyways. nm.

No need to 3 bet the turn. If they are bluffing let them continue. Call unimproved river. Raise improved river.
