Ah, I forgot to say that I deal table games, not poker. So no Big Game for me, however I have dealt $100,000 a hand blackjack and mini bacc. Those players are no big deal though, as these customers are usually quiet and polite.Golden, I took the community college course on blackjack. It was much cheaper than any private school out there and the instruction was top notch. They have actual tables to practice on also. Any dealer will tell you that learning is about 10% study and 90% practice, so access to a practice table and putting in the hours is crucial to picking up a game quickly.Couple of weird stories that happened recently:1. I had an older Japanese couple sit down at my blackjack game and buy in for $500. Neither one spoke English but the wife seemed to understand a little. I was dealing away and happen to notice the man was wearing a black t-shirt with an odd picture and some fancy scripted words at the top. I studied it for a minute and realized it said "Native American." Then it hit me, the picture was of a cartoon hooded strong guy carrying a rifle. By hood, I mean of the KKK type. LOL, this poor guy had probably been given this shirt for free by some white supremisist and had no idea what it meant! I tried to communicate with the couple about the shirt but to no avail. Simply amazing!2. A few months ago I was on a dead game facing a bar. Three guys and three girls were flirting and playing around between my game and the bar. The girls looked as if they could be models/strippers, all being very attractive as well as very drunk. One of the guys said "let me see you dance." So the most attractive blonde pulled her pants (no underwear) down to about mid-thigh and danced for about 10 seconds or so before her friends pulled her pants back up!!! LOL, I have seen a lot of breasts fall out of blouses but never have I seen the pants come down in the middle of the casino.3. Last Halloween I dealt to a prominent strip club owner who brought his girls along to watch. The girls, between 10 to 15 of them, all share in whatever profits are made but there is a stipulation. That stipulation is that whenever the owner gets a blackjack, all the girls lift their shirts up. After a long dry spell of no blackjacks, the owners tells one of the girls to give me some incentive. So she kneels on a chair, pulls up her short mini skirt, and puts her g-string butt over the table! LOL, I did'nt know what to do. I was sweating like crazy and glanced at my supervisor to see if I was going to get in trouble or something. My supervisors were just laughing so I went with it. Mind you, this was back in a private room, not out in the casino. Needless to say, my relief was coming back extra early from his breaks to tap me out. Hahahaha!Toughest game I ever dealt:1. This prestigious award goes to Denis Rodman and entourage, though this did not happen at the Bellagio. Before I tapped into the game, I was told by my supervisors to keep a close eye on him and his 15 to 20 friends surrounding the table. I said sure thing. I step up to the table and utter chaos would be an understatement. $500 chips tossed every which way across the table, on to the floor, into the pit, etc, cards taken off the table and passed around to people standing off the game, layout soaked from spilled alcohol. "Sir, would you like to hit or stay?" "IIIII....sstt..a..rrrr....htttt..eppp" "Uh, ok, what was that again? I need a hand signal." *Groupie starts making circular motions in the air with his cards* LOL, I start laughing and look to my supervisor, he is laughing too hard to do anything. Finally Rodman tells me what to do. But this is just a small sample of my long night with Rodman and crew.2. I was dealing to a big limit blackjack player who was playing two hands at once, face down. He was allowed to look at both hands before acting on the first. He looked at the first hand, set it down, looked at the second hand, set it down, and then took all four cards and scrambled them together! LOL, nobody had any idea which cards were which since they were never exposed. I said "oh, my gosh" and looked over to my supervisor who said "Oh sh*t!" As we both saw warnings in our near future, the supervisor started to call the pit manager. Then the player started laughing as he turned over four Kings. Turned out order did'nt matter, but sent the adrenaline through me all the same. hahaha.Well there are many more but I need to end it here. Time to wax the wife's car. Thanks for the warm welcome here at FCP and hope to be posting in the strategy section soon.Take Care,Phlat__________ :club:
