Limit Omaha High Question

i know most of you play PL but:in the SB i find myself 95% completing the SB with hands i wouldnt normally play.i convince myself the the pot odds justify it. thougths? am i right? wrong? iffy?

boobies.likely though, you are making some mistakes. in limit, you have less ability to "outplay" opponents than PL, so you can only profitably play a smaller range of hands, even against bad players.the amount of hands you are playing from the SB should not be a lot greater than those you'd play on the button. if you're going to complete, ask yourself whether you'd play it on the button. its only half the bet, but you have to play out of position the entire hand, so there is some equalizing.

I play limit omaha from time to time.(Tonight I went 137 hands in a row without winning a pot! UGH!)But in general...I'll compete my SB if there are 3 cards with decent connectivity....or if there is a middle or high pair.If the hand is still complete trash, I have no problem with mucking for 0.5 bets. EVEN IF I am getting 13 or 15 to 1. Some hands are so bad in limit omaha, you won't get a favorable flop more than 5% of the time.

Blind structure makes a big difference too. There is a huge difference between a 2 to 1 chip blind structure. ie. 2/4 with a $1 sb and a $2 bb, or a game like 3/6 with a 3 to 1 struture ie. $1 sb and a $3 bb. Or a 3 to 2 structure ie. 15/30 with a $10 sb and a $15 bb.I think in a game like Omaha and a 2 to 1 blind structure and 2 or 3 people in the pot already you can complete with most hands that are somewhat coordinated. A 3 to 1 structure ignore your 1 chip post and play as tight as you would in EP. The holy grail of loose limit games the 3 to 2 structure allows you to play anything but pocket trips or quads.
