I'm generally so embarrassed by my play that I refuse to expose the rest of you to it.Also, I don't want to be condescending by posting "lesson" hands where the goal is to correct what I perceive to be suboptimal lines taken by the majority of (good) players. Wang

I'm going to the casino to get black-out drunk and play some poke-her tonight. I'll bring a notebook and try to take some notes so I can post a hand or two. It's usually an uber-loose game, so there might be a few interesting hands. Won't be anything tricky or high-level, though. I'll be sure to remember exactly what I said during the hands, too, so you can see how big a funbox I can bee when I'm gambooling.Wang

I don't know, I like to think I'm making the correct play most of the time, but that's probably wrong. Where I need help is with general concepts as opposed to specific hands. Hands like K10, QJ, Q10, etc. that areplayable in some situations but not others.

honestly i can't ever get the converter to work (party).what could i be doing wrong?it's a lot of work to manually format hands, then get hammerred by people for not formatting it the 'correct' way.i honestly think my way is much easier to read, but then i have the names of players. why do people object to that (if the button is identified)? when u use the internet u r not anonymous..

Are you using this converter:FTR converter on zerodivide.cxAre you pasting the Hand history from either your PokerTracker DB, or Party Hand History files?Leaving out opponetns names is a curtousy. I make stupid plays sometimes and would prefer it not get splashed on a forum.

ok..that's the problem..Emailed HH have a different format.That's what I suspected!no need to have them emailedThe Hand Histories are stored on your hard drive already...copy those into the converter. no need to edit anything if you use the ones Zach and I linked too. Theres another bison converter that works if you remove "Texas"...

Set it to FTR, and paste EVERYTHING 8)

while playing you can open up notepad/textpad and copy/paste Hand Histories directly from the top right of table... they are there in the link...Highlight the entire hand, Hold Mouse button down and drag.then hit CTRL+C then go to the Notepad document and hit CTRL+V...shortcuts for copy+paste.In case you did not know.

I've been making an effort to post more lately, though it's mostly in Limit because it's 2/4 that I've been playing lately, but I still don't post as many hands as a lot of people do. Mostly, that's probably because I often have a hard time identifying hands to post and I'm often too tired at the end of a session to go through the process of posting them. Then, I forget to do it later on. Oh, and I'm not sure I ever get a whole lot out of posting hands. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. But mostly, I just get too lazy to do it.

I think posting crtiques really helps. It's ok to temper it with "IMO" but you don't have to apologize for trying to give your ideas. Thats how we all learned.And when Mr Wang smacks you down, take it like a man.got it? !

Usually I'll be playing, and a hand will come up that I'll think I should post. Then I go get it, and try and convert it. Then remember the converter doesn't work for full tilt.. then start to try and convert it, then reread the hand and it's never as interesting as I remember.. so I go play more hands instead. Is there a converter that recognizes the format hands are in when you pull them out of pokertracker? That seems like it would be a good thing to have/make.... If only I wern't lazy..... heh

Is there a converter that recognizes the format hands are in when you pull them out of pokertracker? That seems like it would be a good thing to have/make.... If only I wern't lazy..... heh

When I'm in PT and looking at the hand, and click, to get the text of the Hand History, I can paste that inot the converter you see on my posts.the zerodrive..oneBut I have Party.It's possible that the HH text is that way because I'm on Party and not because PT converts it to look like a PArty HH even when it's from another site.
