acesfullmike 0
so i finished up one of my better sessions last night, and by the end of it, i really felt like i simply ran over everyone. i reviewed my cards and they werent spectacular or anything, i just seemed to re-raise at all the right spots. now i know this will not always be the case, but at the end of a good shorthanded session, should you feel like you were steamrolling the table? econ_tim 0
not alwaysyou should steamroll the table if it is full of weak/tight playersif you have access to Hold'em Poker For Advanced Players, you should read the section on short handed play. It explains how a player that bets and raises at every opportunity can beat a short handed game if his opponents don't adjust properly. If you are a more aggressive or super lag table, don't try to run them over. Just let them pay you off.
srblan 0
Any time that you feel like you are running the table, it's a good thing. I love walking away with the feeling that I bet when I was supposed to, raised at the right time, and folded at the right times too.
acesfullmike 0
thanks tim. I tend to not adjust to tables enough and fall prey to overbetting weak hands when at a table full of maniacs. I need to reread HEAP for sure. appreciate it.
