Socrates 0
My advice to anyone who plans on playing the lower buiy in events; don't play any of them early. Event #2 (the first public tournament) is outrageous. You have to play 11 handed, they allow alternates for the first hour or so. Last year I thik we ended up with over 2300+ players. Later tournaments are lower volume, any larger buy in is usually a better bet.Beware of the rebuy events, DN was the most prominent, but there are quite a few ppl who show up with at least 5-10K willing to bust and buy early. If you get one of these people at your table you'll love it hate it (most likely the latter). Saw the frustration of players last year that had only 1 or 2 rebuys commited for play. Ppl talk about the heads up guys online that go all in everyhand, well, they exists in real life too, but they'll do it 10 handed.
