Vegas Knights 56 Posted July 23 Share Posted July 23 I have a feeling it's going to be a long hibernation unless some big event happens that kickstarts poker again. One possible big event would be a successful poker themed movie that got people that currently done give a damn about poker interested. One example of a movie that created a craze was the movie "Saturday Night Fever". Disco absolutely exploded across the nation after that movie. Another example was the movie "Urban Cowboy" which showcased a "mechanical bull riding machine". I would estimate that at least half the dance clubs in America (even the fancy clubs) installed a mechanical bull for their patrons to ride after that successful movie. 1 1 Link to post Share on other sites
