matdiddy22 0
I'll be in Vegas that weekend (April 24th-28th) and I want to post up in a sportsbook early on and watch it all day long. I've been there twice, but never that weekend. I've narrowed it down to Caesar's, Mandalay Bay, or the Bellagio. Anyone have any experience during that day in Vegas? Also I have heard a lot of casinos have cut back or stopped the free drinks in the sportsbooks. Any info on that?I'm not limited to those 3 choices, those just seem to have the best atmosphere's so if anyone has any other suggestions that would be great too. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies with useful information. Stealth Beagle 0
I'm not sure what kind of coverage the books give to the draft but the rumors about cutting back on cocktails are true. It varies from joint to joint, but it seems most places do drink tickets with wagers now.

Naismith 0
I don't want to hijack the thread or anything, but this is kind of related. In November, I was out in Vegas for a bachelor party weekend. We were going to meet up with Acid Knight on Sunday to watch the Bucs (and for him, the Giants) at a sports book. We didn't get there early enough, though, so they were all packed. What we ended up doing was go to the best poker room in Vegas, the Venetian, and sat at their empty tables. They put whatever games we wanted on, served us drinks, let us eat at their buffet, etc. It was pretty awesome. Other than their awful tournament chips, Venetian poker room always treats you right. OrzyVibe 0
Caesar's is one lively sportsbook.
UCFrizzo 0
Bellagio is pretty solid...I may be wrong, but i think you have to have a $200 wager for free drinks.Bally's sportsbook is pretty nice for being relatively dead, or atleast when i was there 2 months ago. Its downstairs in bally's and was nice/big. Go there if the others are full. Have fun-rizzo
matdiddy22 0
Damn Naismith that is pretty awesome. I know Caesar's is the place to be for NFL gamedays so I was assuming that would be a good place to be. Yeah I don't think I can afford to place $200 to get a free drink. I'll definitely check out Bally's though. Thanks for the information.
dscoot 0
mandalay bay and bellgio's books are kinda cut off to the rest of the casinocaesars is right in the mix of the tables and slots and poker. and next to pure night club, or one of those places.if u want isolation and definite individual service , go for the top two, if u want a party atmosphere at and around the sportsbook, go caesars.due to them having alot of fights, manalay might be more sports friendly.but obv the seats at belagio are best, while the other two are tied
matdiddy22 0
Good stuff guys. Any info on the free drink policies of either Caesar's or Mandalay Bay? I know there are ways around it anyway, betting on the horses, or just going to the slots/video poker tables nearby. dscoot or UCFrizzo, want a stake to a $4.40/180 or $5.50 mtt? 50/50 no stakeback.
