showstopper24 0
Will this man crush ever go away?NoDidn't the greatest special teams player in the league take a horrible angle of pursuit that ended up giving up a TD to the Bills this week? Are you kidding? They kept saying how Josh was the only one on the Browns that did well on that play. He started way behind their returner, took a great angle, and almost caught up. Get on my level. Get on my level. So he ALMOST stopped a touchdown but instead didn't and you want me to say he is a better player than Hester.A great angle means he would have caught him, not missed. Unless your definition of great means failure. But you guys got Brady Quinn running things now, hows that working out?

If anybody thinks that a team would rather kick to Josh than Devin, you are high off your rocker and haven't watched any football this year.

bigkg 0
Hester just had a 65-yard TD reception. When's the last time Cribbs did anything on the offensive side of the ball?
SuperJon 175
Hester just had a 65-yard TD reception. When's the last time Cribbs did anything on the offensive side of the ball?Well there was that one game this year against the Redskins where Cribbs had a 1-yard TD reception.Oh, and he also had one rush attempt for 2-yards in that game.So yeah...take that! showstopper24 0
And if Hester was playing for the Browns and Cribbs for another team you would be telling us how much Hester rules the world, please STFU with your homerism.I'm waiting for your written assessment on why Quinn is the best QB in the league.Although I respect and like most Cleveland dudes (with the exception of DA), this is simply not true. Besides Josh, Felix Jones, TO, and Martellus Bennet are my favorite players (I kind of like da Boyz).d I think BQ is good but I do not think Hester is better than Cribbs. Hester just had a 65-yard TD reception. When's the last time Cribbs did anything on the offensive side of the ball? When was the last time Josh was thrown to? When was the last time Hester did something on special teams? The Hester/Cribbs debate has never been about who is the better WRWell there was that one game this year against the Redskins where Cribbs had a 1-yard TD reception.Oh, and he also had one rush attempt for 2-yards in that game.So yeah...take that!In Cribbs' defense, Steptoe completely missed the block. And also in Cribbs' defense: I didn't watch much of the Bears game, but the one play I saw was when Hester was returning a punt. It was a good return-he probably got 15-20 yards. And its because there was not one single Viking around. Whenever Josh is returning a punt, you always see at least 2 or 3 defenders. Chicago simply has better blocking-go look at the highlights. If Josh was on the Bears, he would have killed the return record by now.
ReraiseAllIn 0
When was the last time Josh was thrown to? When was the last time Hester did something on special teams? The Hester/Cribbs debate has never been about who is the better WRThe topic is who would you rather have on your team considering all roles that the players have on their respective teams. All in all, a WR is much more likely to make a game changing play for your team than the gunner on your coverage team. This singularly makes it a no contest in my mind about which player I would rather have on my team.Honestly, the only Bears game I have watched in detail this season was this past Sunday night game, so the question I have is: Is Hester even on the coverage unit for the Bears anymore? I know he was on the unit when he was essentially only a special teams player, but have they taken him off the coverage unit now?
showstopper24 0
The topic is who would you rather have on your team considering all roles that the players have on their respective teams.Your an idiot. Although the title of the thread it who would you rather have, it means on special teams. That's like saying who is the better home run hitter: Barry Bonds or Mark McGwire and then saying, well Barry Bonds is a better outfielder. One has nothing to do with the other. rocketpoker828 0
Considering all aspects of the game.....punt returning, kick returning, special teams coverage, playing offense, and playing defense.GO! Although the title of the thread it who would you rather have, it means on special teams. These two things contradict each other. DUCY?

king1305 0
Didn't Hester lose* his job returning kicks?I thought that was mentioned during MNF vs the Vikes. Like, right before he housed that TD reception untouched.Someone correct me if I'm wrong.*- I mean lose, lose. Not meaning they wanted him to focus more on offense, they didn't think he was their best option.

Go figure. He still has all of the punt return duties, as for his kickoff duty, I guess its situational?

showstopper24 0
Josh is sick. Who watched the Browns today? The only time they did well offensively was with him at QB. And he had a 31 yard rush and a 44 yard pass to Braylon that both got called back (fuk Romeo for not challenging that. He's the stupidest person in sports history)...and his kick returns were all for over 30 yards.Comparing JC to Hester is like comparing Ivey to Jamie Gold. Sure Gold has made more money but Ivey is better.

ReraiseAllIn 0
Considering that only the Cleveland and Tennessee markets were carrying the Browns/Titans game today, I'm pretty sure most everyone missed it. And those who did watch it saw the Titans dominate, as expected. If you are saying that the only time the Browns did well was with Cribbs at QB means that the Browns only did well for one play that actually counted, which was an incomplete pass? And seeing how the 4 kickoff returns totaled 105 yards, I know its safe to say that all of them did not go for over 30 yards. Meanwhile, Hester led his team in recieving yards for the third week in a row.
