Live 2/4 game. Table for the most part is loose/passive.Villian is EXTREMELY loose. I mean she's played virtually every hand dealt to her for the 2 plus hours I've been at the table, calls everything down with any piece of the board she connects with but won't raise even with the nuts. Aggrivating as hell, but she's an ATM and she's having fun giving her cash away....Anyways: Hero is on the button with Jh 9h.6 limpers to flop: Qh 6h Assb checks, bb(villian) checks, utg bets, mp2 calls, hero raises, sb folds, bb calls 2 cold, utg/mp2 callTurn: Ksall check to hero, hero checksRiver: 10hHero?I didn't want to bet the King cus I was fearing someone having an Ace. The table has a tendancy to not bet their weak Aces, but will call with them. I was just trying for the free card. I'm not overly confident about having the third nut flush either cus one of these people could easily have Axh.Am I playing too passive here? Am I seeing monsters under the bed? Any advice to get more aggressive and less worried about outcomes and look at long term results? I seem to have trouble looking at them as just chips instead of actual money....

you're on the button playing j9hs. if you're not going to raise when you make your flush, fold pre flop.everyone's checked to you definitely put out a bet here 100%.Also, you don't have to bet the turn. That's fine. Also also, why bother mentioning a villian that hasn't taken much part in action, (didn't make the only other aggression in the hand) when it looks like you have a bunch of people in the hand? Did you miss details here?

I play the flop and the turn the same, but the river is an easy bet and in a loose passive game with clueless players even if someone bet the river I would raise as they could be betting two pairs or straight.

watI'm reading it over and over again. Are you really asking if you should valuebet the flush here?As the first replier said, if you don't want to bet in this spot, fold J9hh preflop. And just in case... bbfidts.

Yeah, sorry about that. I made the post at like 3am after I got home from the casino so I was a bit tired....On the river, villian bet, and mp2 called. I was wondering if I should've called or raised.

Raise and reraise if given a chance.

I'm just calling if I raise this river and get 3-bet.
If the table is loose and filled with weak players like the op said, then I'm expecting anyone with a straight or 2 pair to be making a stupid raise. If the table is stronger, then I would call as well.Would depend on the table.

turn check is one of the reasons you raise the flop in the first place...to get the free cardit also tempts people to bet a single A or 2 pair or something on the river, feeling they missed a bet on the turnwhich is why you raise with your flush on the river
