Metternich 0
I snap call and groan when I see A-3 or some bullshit. But I play at the $2 level....
simo_8ball 0
Sorry, should mention that villain has been fairly tight preflop from what I've seen.EDIT: He's playing 16/
AKProdigy 0
Considering that he is tight, I fold. Even if it is a semi-bluff with something like AcKc, you're still behind. The only hands u realistically beat are maybe 77 - 99 (and even that's pushing it), and a complete bluff, while JJ+ is fairly likely, as is the semi-bluff. Tough laydown, but I make it. You have the stack to absorb it.
jmbreslin 0
Tough one, but I think AKProdigy is right. When you factor in your read on villain, there are basically no hands he would likely play like this that you beat. High pairs and AcKc are way too likely here.
DoinSublime 0
You think a 16/11 is checking JJ+ to you to let you hit a card? I don't buy it. I'd call. What else can you tell us about his play so far?
pdr87 0
Tough spot. It's very very likely that he's on the flushdraw here. It would probably mean a coinflip if he's tight preflop. 1:1, and the pot odds are 13365:6700 or ~ 2:1.So from a pot-odds perspective it's a pretty easy call if we put him on a draw. He could have a high pocket, but as Sublime said, it's not likely that he would check it on this flop.I'd call.

simo_8ball 0
I folded to the shove, but I hated doing it. I needed more time to think about it, and the 30 second time bank wasn't enough.I put him on a big hand preflop. I would usually reraise preflop but I didn't want to turn my hand into 33 or 22.His flop check confused the hell out of me (plan was to call one bullet on the flop and pretty much give up thereafter). The reason I bet small was because I figured I was either dead to JJ+ checkraising and I didn't want to commit to it, or I was against AK/AQ and he would generally fold. I didn't think he would check AK/AQ there though. Maybe he did.I don't think he ever shows up with a pair less than 99 here.
DoinSublime 0
I was playing LAG and I'm pretty sure he knew it.That makes sense for him to check raise with the big pair then I guess.
