Considering that he is tight, I fold. Even if it is a semi-bluff with something like AcKc, you're still behind. The only hands u realistically beat are maybe 77 - 99 (and even that's pushing it), and a complete bluff, while JJ+ is fairly likely, as is the semi-bluff. Tough laydown, but I make it. You have the stack to absorb it.

Tough one, but I think AKProdigy is right. When you factor in your read on villain, there are basically no hands he would likely play like this that you beat. High pairs and AcKc are way too likely here.

You think a 16/11 is checking JJ+ to you to let you hit a card? I don't buy it. I'd call. What else can you tell us about his play so far?

Tough spot. It's very very likely that he's on the flushdraw here. It would probably mean a coinflip if he's tight preflop. 1:1, and the pot odds are 13365:6700 or ~ 2:1.So from a pot-odds perspective it's a pretty easy call if we put him on a draw. He could have a high pocket, but as Sublime said, it's not likely that he would check it on this flop.I'd call.

He hadn't once tried to steal my blind, and he had folded his SB to me twice or three times when it folded round.Oh, just looking through the HHs, these hands were about one revolution earlier each (probably should have looked for and mentioned these sooner):Seat 1: worliness (9,761)Seat 2: lolol you lose (5,010)Seat 3: Simo123 (12,310)Seat 4: gamblingal1 (5,515)Seat 5: Tom_abcde (17,130)Seat 6: shortyb77 (4,025)Seat 7: DallasRounder (10,300)Seat 8: wwheat (11,925)Seat 9: moneyagent69 (6,605)lolol you lose posts the small blind of 100Simo123 posts the big blind of 200The button is in seat #1*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to Simo123 [9d 9h]gamblingal1 foldsTom_abcde foldsshortyb77 foldsDallasRounder foldswwheat foldsmoneyagent69 foldsworliness foldslolol you lose calls 100Simo123 raises to 700lolol you lose foldsUncalled bet of 500 returned to Simo123Simo123 mucksSeat 2: lolol you lose (9,990)Seat 3: Simo123 (12,995)Seat 4: gamblingal1 (8,865)Seat 5: Tom_abcde (18,715), is sitting outSeat 6: shortyb77 (3,415)Seat 7: DallasRounder (5,680)Seat 8: wwheat (5,290)Seat 9: moneyagent69 (12,880)worliness antes 25lolol you lose antes 25Simo123 antes 25gamblingal1 antes 25Tom_abcde antes 25shortyb77 antes 25DallasRounder antes 25wwheat antes 25moneyagent69 antes 25Simo123 posts the small blind of 150gamblingal1 posts the big blind of 300The button is in seat #2*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to Simo123 [Ac 9h]Tom_abcde foldsshortyb77 foldsDallasRounder foldswwheat has 15 seconds left to actwwheat foldsmoneyagent69 foldsworliness foldsSimo123 has been disconnected <--------------------------------------- LOL INTERNETSlolol you lose raises to 900Simo123 has reconnectedSimo123 has 15 seconds left to actSimo123 raises to 2,200gamblingal1 foldslolol you lose foldsUncalled bet of 1,300 returned to Simo123Simo123 mucksSimo123 wins the pot (2,325)I was playing LAG and I'm pretty sure he knew it.

I folded to the shove, but I hated doing it. I needed more time to think about it, and the 30 second time bank wasn't enough.I put him on a big hand preflop. I would usually reraise preflop but I didn't want to turn my hand into 33 or 22.His flop check confused the hell out of me (plan was to call one bullet on the flop and pretty much give up thereafter). The reason I bet small was because I figured I was either dead to JJ+ checkraising and I didn't want to commit to it, or I was against AK/AQ and he would generally fold. I didn't think he would check AK/AQ there though. Maybe he did.I don't think he ever shows up with a pair less than 99 here.
