It sounds like Bodog ripped off someones patented interface, refused to compensate damages, and got what was coming to them.

Not bodog all of online poker, this is not a bodog specific patent from the sounds of it.

Cobalt, are you keeping what $ you have in Bodog, or are you going to take someout? Should I be worrying about my funds on Bodog, and requesting withdraws?

A few people are in panic mode for some reason, but most people are level-headed about the situation. There's very little that's changed aside from a domain switch. That does suck a little...as it'll take a while for that new domain recongition to filter through...ideally they get the original back. As for security, I'm not worried about my funds at all. I don't plan to withdraw for a while. Bodog's been around for like 10 years and is way too profitable to just drop off the face of the earth.

They cut their daily 10k/5k $30+3 tourney to 3k and then their 3k $7.50 tourney to 1.5 k

Has anyone tried to withdraw since this newbodog.com deal??I have never withdawn from BD before. Does it really take the 20-30days to receive your check???There is probably a thread about withdrawals....just being lazy and dont feel like looking it up.Thanks.

I don't really understand. What does this lawsuit have to do with Bodog's domain name? Why wouldthey avoid the lawsuit by changing domains? And the article says that the judge did not grant a preliminary injunction, so wtf?
